On NFL Network right now his annual Super Bowl presser downplaying our concerns regarding the practice field conditions at UNLV, the future of pay per view of playoff games in the future as well as the expansion of games played in Europe. My question is when is this bozo going to resign before he totally ruins professional football where it goes so far bad it never comes back?

He's made the owners so much money since he became commissioner and just signed a 200 Million dollar contract through 2027. He's not going anywhere.

He should
Why?
He's rolling in dough and one of the most powerful persons in America. No way he resigns. Fans hate him but the owners love him.

I don't get the hate for Goodell. Isn't he just a mouthpiece for the owners?
Owners tell the commish want they want and he makes it happen and announces it to the fans. He gets painted a bad guy while the owners sit in a corner and don't comment on anything. They can just say that's what the league wants.
The owners can remove him at anytime but they don't bc he is doing exactly what they want. His only real power is he can settle disputes between the owners.

Goodell is secure in his job because the owners are all making money. The NFL is far and away the biggest draw on TV. Nothing else is even close. Naturally he sees that and is looking for ways to make even more money. That's why pay per view for all playoff games may not be far away.
Why not? With so many fans willing to pay to see the games he'd be crazy not to seek this. They keep jacking up ticket prices every year. Stadiums are still full. The SB tickets are double from last year. People are still buying them. What happened to all the complaints about inflation? I guess it only applies to food and not to entertainment.

They always like to go just far enough to almost kill the Golden Goose, but sometimes in their greed and lust for money they end up killing it anyway.
