They won a Super Bowl, so unlike with CMC it'll be worth it

Last night's game was a coronation of goatness, but not for Mahomes. Howie Roseman has now won 2 super bowls with his coaches being Doug Pederson and Nick Sirianni and his QBs being Jalen Hurts and Nick Foles. He is the greatest gm of all time.

Yup. Just like people who were laughing at the Rams for going all in for 2021 because they would be in "cap hell." Not only did they win, but they've rebuilt faster than the 49ers, lol.

rapid reactions
- kc did well vs saquon and forced hurts to beat em and he did
- not sure we've seen such a contrast in OL play in a SB in all 59 games. philly dominated in pass pro, and pass rush.
- hit the qb and he starts to look normal that happened last night with patrick.

We need to have an offseason similar to Eagles, they signed Saquon and Baum, drafted studs in the secondary with Mitchell and Dejean. We need to hit with that #11 pick or use it to land Garrett.

They are already on track to have a similar offseason with the DC and ST coordinator upgrades.
Trading for Myles Garrett is such a bad and risky idea when you factor in the cost to acquire him as well as all the holes on this roster. Myles rolls his ankle, and the team is back to 2024 because it doesn't have enough talent across all starting positions and no depth. The 49ers need to draft better and do it in a bigger quantity because this roster looks like Swiss cheese.
I think the Eagles DL is a good example of why good teams never stop investing in the trenches. The Eagles DL that faced the Niners in the NFCC was totally different group(Fletcher Cox, Reddick, Hargrave, etc) than the one that won the SB because Howie Roseman kept throwing draft resources at the position group despite it being position of strength. Now, the group that faced the Niners is old and gone, and the young guys have taken over. Niners let the DL get old, untalented and has no depth because they didn't keep investing enough resources in the position group.

i agree. drafting carter, davis and so forth you push the pocket that just won philly the ring. you make your LB level and DBs look good when you can harass patrick like that. now look at our DL interior

Totally agree on Garret, we can't give up multiple valuable picks for one guy, even if it is Garret. We just need to have a good draft and we'll be right back in contention next year, super bowl home game!

How many times do people have to see this in NFL history to get it?
* Trade massive haul for Herschel Walker = horrible move.
* Trade massive haul for Deshaun Watson = horrible move.
* Trade massive haul for Trey Lance = horrible move.
Almost always the teams trading a massive haul for 1 player come out the LOSER. But stupid teams keep doing it. 1 player can get older, injured, decline, get a big contract and stop playing (Deebo). You can't count on 1 player. You need your picks to restock your roster. Stop busting on the early ones would really help this team.

Lol what an absolute trash fan base, Eagles lol. What is with the northeast ppl wanting to go up poles, riot and s**t? Idolize sports a bit much? Mix that with crazy/trash..that is the result. Philly fans are like the audience of a Jerry Springer show or Maury. And they are proud of it lol. Never been to Philly and never want to go..hard pass lol

yes we need to draft and develop a lot of guys. we are already paying at or near most in nfl for edge, wr, te, rb, fb, mlb and on it goes.

We can't keep missing on the early rounds. Eagles hit a lot on early rounds. They also pick the TRENCHES often. Like the Lions who choked in the playoffs but had a great record. Plus a lot of injuries. But it's so obvious if you pick the offensive and defensive lines you can build a powerful team. We always ignore it for yet another WR or RB or something else. So sick of this team ignoring the lines and busting on 1st and 2nd round picks. We pick good rounds 3 - 7. But must get better 1 - 2.
