Fantastic news. I suspect they have restored a stable rhythm. Will need an extensive workup as to the cause and to evaluate for injuries which they are undoubtedly doing right now.

This doctor is legit and the one I watched when Tua went down earlier in the season.

Great explanation. Thanks for posting that.

I was looking at the replay of this and Tee hits him full force. This is to be expected. This is what NFL players do.

I could be wrong about this. Very wrong. But something didn't look right with Damar during that hit. Normally? Safeties like Damar punish opposing receivers. How often have we seen Hufanga hit someone?

This was different. During that hit, and maybe right before, Damar didn't look right.

My guess is his heart (if that is the issue) was already beginning to act abnormally. The question is when did it actually start.

Not saying that anything he is saying is wrong but this guy is a family medicine/sports medicine physician. He is not qualified in anyway to be giving advice on cardiac arrest in any situation (even sports related). It's also extremely premature to be concluding that his arrest was related to the blunt force trauma (although it could very likely be related to a cardiac contusion).
so we can go into cardiac arrest from a collision to our chest...at a specific millisec???

look at the edge lord being a tough guy behind his computer screen. You walk around in public calling other people pussies? Doubtful.

+1
This guy tries way too hard and adds nothing to these forums. At least some of the trolls here are funny; Pdizo never is. This statement is like a good characterization of who he is when he posts. We don't need that here.

Thank you.

As an intensive care and emergency medicine physician I am not sure exactly what causes the arrest yet. We need more data and tests which are being done now. I would guess this is blunt force to his chest causing a cardiac contusion leading to an arrhythmia. Also possible is undiagnosed HOCM but athletes are supposed to get screened for this now.
