He played out his contract and it's time for an upgrade. Along comes Grant Cohn the skeptic to do more than suggest it will hurt us. For some people it's just time to move on. Burford was such a case. We watched him for 4 years and he was not going to get better. A younger free agent his new team, the Raiders gave him a one year contract suggesting they won't build with him. He's beyond wait and see. If the niners go stop gap they can do better with what's on the open market. Burford was not worth bringing up as my 2 cents here comes 2 months after the last post. So why does Grant Cohn have to bring it up? He needs to post something-anything. Being annoying is a big part of his schtick and there's a market for that. I'm old enough to remember those "ring around the collar!" commercials in the 60's. The good news is Grant is not as bad as his father.

Good kid but I'll never forgive him for freelancing and deciding Chris Jones shouldn't be blocked.
Hope he does the same against us when we play Raiders this year.

He may not. But at least he'll have the opportunity to do it twice a year now against the Chefs. And then blame the missed block on the tackle because he blew the assignment.

Inexcusable. Dont like pinning a loss on 1 guy, but that essentially cost them the SB

What's funnier (not really) is posters that get on Bosa for carrying out his assignment and not abandoning his post (to go after Mahommes) conveniently forget that Burford failed to carry his assignment and abandoned his post to give Chris Jones a free shot.
