I disagree

He's still on the team and wish him the best that he turned it around this offseason. We tend to keep high draft picks who bust longer than most teams hoping for something as long as they don't have bad attitudes. Just don't BS us that he became a power lifter in the offseason and threw boulders on his rest days to prepare for the season.

We do? How did you determine that?

At any rate, the rest of the Dline looks so good, he might get some clean up sacks and look better than what he is.

Looks good on paper.

Given this recent draft, he probably won't.

If he is on the 46, he might get a shot on 3rd and long. That's about the only situations he should even be considered and it isn't because he is some great pass rusher. You just can't justify playing him over YGM, Williams, or Okuayinuno in the other situations.
why is this s**t at the top of this message board?

I was thinking the same thing, dudes a certified bust anyway
jacksons done so little people on here didn't even remember he was on the team until mykel Williams was drafted. so many mock drafts this year didn't even have his name on the post draft roster because people didn't even know he was still on the team. we had to draft a DE for people to be reminded o ya we already attempted to get "bosas buddy" like 3 years ago.
Can we not just say he's a bust? The guys been hurt for 2 years now. Will he play for us again? No probably not, but he also didn't get a huge runway to show what he is due to the injuries. I feel bad for him

Game winning sack in the Super Bowl incoming.

Some people call players with major injury issues "bust". If you evaluate value the 49ers got for the pick then undoubtedly the pick is a bust. But I agree that it's not really possible to evaluate a player who can't string even a few weeks of healthy play together let alone months. Kinlaw is in the same boat.
Nic Bonitto picked 3 picks later didn't make much impact to last year.

Zach Tom is probably the best OT who was on the board at that pick, and while he's played RT who knows maybe he could go to LT.

I don't know why some of you guys do this to yourselves. It doesn't feel healthy. Don't we have enough heartache as a fanbase to worry about?

Go back and look at the start of this thread if you need a refresher on how most felt about the pick(hint: it was overwhelmingly positive)

The guy has been injured and likely to the point that he will never play again. Similar to Jalen Hurd there was a lot of buzz and excitement early on though with Jalen it was more about how he looked in training camp and that first preseason game and with Drake it was more about the draft buzz and athletic ability. Both got injured and we never got to see what they would actually be had they stayed healthy.

It is what it is. May as well bump the Gio Carmazzi thread and talk about Tom Brady being available while we're at it. Heck in that case Carmazzi just quit, wasn't an injury situation.

Yes, there were some Aldon Smith comparisons made. Some Kocurek and Bosa going to coach him up statements made. I'm sure if we look hard enough there we'll find the ole "he's only *insert age here* ". Sounds very familiar to what we've been hearing this whole weekend.
