I also dont see how he publicly "denounced" the 49ers. He simply said how he felt and how he felt he deserved a contract. That's not denouncing anyone. He even said they went to him and told him beforehand that they wouldnt be able to pay him, there was transparency.
I give him a pass for mailing it in after his daughter's death, just like I give a pass to Trent Williams for not really wanting to play after it was clear Niners werent contenders/playoff-bound.
