Just our luck, cut Sermon, then Mitchell goes down week 1, glad it's not an ACL, but 2 months sucks, won't be back till late November if my calculation is right. Maybe early December. I really hate injuries, so tired of them. Was Sermon active yesterday for Philly?

Weren't we interested in him at one point in the past, wouldn't be a bad signing.

Better an MCL sprain than a tear anywhere, but still sucks.
I've torn my MCL. Two months means it's a pretty good tear but not a full tear that would require surgery. It hurts like a b***h to rehab.
Ouch, was it a complete tear?
As for Mitchell, guess we can find any back to work in our offense, hope Wilson, TDP & Mason are ready for the extra load, and Deebo too, hopefully not as much on Deebo, just screens/jet sweeps like yesterday.
Mine? Just a partial tear. They heal without surgery and time.
But the rehab is brutal because all the muscles around the knee turn into a rock trying to protect the knee. The exercises that break that make grown men cry.

Not a bad signing at all. Dirt cheap, don't have to give up picks and kid has tons of experience. At one point I thought he was a top RB in the league or at least heading that way

I do not think he was active.
I know sermon was just average and hurt, but Mitchell is glass.

Sermon would do us as much good as Mostert, Breida, or Joe Williams would do us now

Kyle Shanahan says Elijah Mitchell will miss approx. 8 weeks with an MCL sprain he suffered in the 2nd quarter. He will not need surgery. Jeff Wilson becomes top back while rookies Ty Davis-Price & Jordan Mason will compete in practice for No. 2 role. Mason had edge in Week 1
