Mostert and Mitchell are pretty injury prone guys.

Serious question. Have we had a RB1 who isnt named Frank Gore last an entire season without getting hurt in the last 2 decades?

Trade for Matt Breida (on NYG). I know he gets injured too, but he would give the team a speedster RB. Would cost a 7th.

Speaking of speedsters I saw that Mostert only had 16 yards on 5 carries yestarday. Surprising with his speed.

Don't see the Giants getting rid of him for a 7th

Two years in a row the 49er lose their RB1 in week 1. Hope there isn't structural damage.
And key Defensive players Ryans builds around up to week 1 (Verrett and Ward).
At least this time around we're more equipped to handle it.
Mostert's injury last season allowed Mitchell to show himself. Can Mitchell's injury allow us to see Mason as the hidden gem?
Go on!

So all I keep seeing is Ian Rappaport's opinion, yet every other media outlet is running with it as if it's official. Am I miising something? From what I can tell, he hasn't even had a MRI yet, or is getting one today. But no official word from the team.

That "report" from Rappoport was lame. Way to go on a limb there, predicting that a RB getting on the team bus while wearing a boot/brace is possibly going to miss weeks. No s**t.

I like Mitchell, but he's to injury prone. I am ready to see TDP and Mason.

It's the Niners. He will be out until 2025.
