Np. Wilson has shown to be a good back when he's healthy. He's hungry to get out there and make an impact.

Another exceptional late round runner with an incredible yards per average. But already injured x3 this season.
Like with Mostert, we better always have a like-talent behind him.
Kinda early to say that, let him get another full off season of nfl conditioning. Anyone can break a damn finger, it just put Wilson out for the first time in his career.
He's been injured 3 times in 7 games with 3 different injuries. I'm not dogging on him. Just not going to solely count on players like this anymore. But like Mostert, I do love this guy and he's playing through them.

He's just too small to play that way for 17 games a year. The kid runs hard, which is awesome, but he doesn't have the body to hold up.

Backs get beat up. I saw a list that someone posted earlier and there's some big names on it. Look at how Barkley's built and he's always hurt. Backs are about the only guys the defense can really hit anymore so I think they take their frustrations out on them.

Most likely Kyle's plan at RB will be all Wilson and no Sermon. And Wilson will get injured, and then maybe we will see Sermon.

It's not just the Niners though, It's RB's in general. There is a reason teams don't like giving alot of money and alot of years to RB's. They are just not durable and it has nothing to do with their size. They get hit more than any other player and it's not even close. Even Henry who is suppose to be built to withstand this kind of abuse suffered a season ending injury. It's not like it was 15 years ago. In today's game it's best to have 3 RB's who can share the load. Browns do it right by having two top RB's but even that didn't stop them both from constantly getting hurt. You need a boatload of RB's.

You also need to keep them fresh during the games. No way should Mitchell have gotten 27 carries vs the Rams. Shanny is not a good game administrator to me. At least 5 of those Mitchell carries shouldve gone to Sermon or even Juice. The goal was 40 team carries and Mitchell got 27. He was destined to get banged up

I give Mitchell 0 blame. We have a stable of RBs and shanahan gives Mitchell 90% of the carries. I understand and agree he is our best back but dial it back shanny, esp in a blowout game vs rams

I don't have any issue with 27 carries. He was banged up before the 27 carries. Getting banged up is part of his position. Sermon dam near got his head knocked off after 1 ore 2 carries versus the Eagles.

It's definitely a consistent issue with this scheme for us but yes, generally, Arby's do get banged up. That's why we need to have another RB behind him with a similar skill set. It would be nice if we could have for 2022:
Mostert - Mitchell
Sermon - Wilson
But who knows if Mostert will be back.
