Totally disagree, he was injured often in 2021 too. This is just who he is.
He's a smaller Jordan Mason, and he runs very tough. I'm not surprised he's a bit dinged up, because of how hard he runs. I hope he can start running smarter and have that Frank Gore durability that Frank developed after those two gruesome knee injuries in college. Hope Frank can mentor him - at least on the durability/Injury side of things. I'd love to see Mitchell play 100% of the season instead of losing weeks because of injuries.
Frank Gores story was the exception to the rule. There's a reason he will be in the hall of fame. Elijah however is just one of MANY pro athletes that have as much talent as the best of them, but not unable to stay healthy. DO NOT want him in a Niners uniform next year, we all know Shanahan will find another talented back late in the draft to replace him
