People here call the majority of our rookies busts every year.

Good thing it doesn't work like that for him. He'd be living under a bridge.

apparently, KS continues to have high hopes on Dre and Norm that this draft pick can't even get a chance to cover anyone...

KS must be having a great time watching Norm (espcially) give up big plays either by INTERFERING or watching the target's # !!

If I remember correctly Ambry was awful against Detroit in coverage and looked even worse than Dre has.

so what?

you draft a guy and give up on him after one bad game? What do you expect from a rookie who you drafted late?

when you draft a guy late, it's because you saw potential in him and that potential can only be completed if you give him playing time..

if you're OLD VETERAN keeps giving up stupid plays after plays, you may as well throw in the rookie in there and let him learn... crap, either way, you may just end

up cutting both anyways so you may as well give the player you drafted the chance to prove you that he should make the team.. NO?

Makes me sick that Dre is still on this team and playing over the rookies

A high draft pick that can't crack a lineup featuring the NFL's worst CB's is an awful look. When a coach looks at Thomas, then at Dre freaking Kirkpatrick.....and feels Dre is a better option.......

Donte Johnson
Josh "DPI" Norman
Dre Kirkpatrick

All ahead of him

not according to BTT... he's trying to make a point as to why DRE should be playing instead of Ambry learning..

Yeah, totally what I said.

It's a point as to why he is starting, not why he should be starting. I'm a fan of Ambry and have spoke very highly of him in here.

It doesn't look good when other CBs, Norman and Kirkland are before you on the depth chart.
Where is this guy?

I'm with you. We need to let these kids learn by making mistakes and getting pro reps in. I get that our DC doesn't want to get fired, but his vets are old and done. At least if we lose with the rookies he can call this a development year. Not getting any reps at all is a failure to develop and teach.

I'm wondering if we're already planning to sign Norm and Dre for next season.. the way we are playing them, it looks like we are going to trust their veteran can't cover leadership for another year...

By the time we let those 2 go, Ambry will learn nothing but hold on to the WRs while covering them downfield because that's all he sees during game time..

I think this guy will start at the same time as Trey, when Shanny finally thinks we are eliminated from playoffs. Besides, isn't it obvious that Norman and Dre give us "the best chance to win" over Ambry
