Of course it couldn't be Shanny's pick.. no way Shanny pick up a sorry back.. Mitch was the only RB he wanted all along..

We have bozo's making up this team

That's not true.. just guys who don't hit on 100% of their draft picks.

There's a huge bust rate in the NFL. My only recommendation for improvement with JL is to cut his losses earlier. No reason to keeping doubling down on a losing hand. He's shown a tendency to hold onto his picks way too long.
At least he's just a 3rd rounder, wasn't Reagor cut by the Eagles a 1st ?

They have been doing good in having all their draft picks make the team - except for (I think) Tariq - these past couple of years. I think that shows that they do a good job of talent evaluations. As for Bust Rate, injuries can contribute to that. McGlinchey's quad injury for example. I think Poe and Kemoco are the equivalent of day 3 draft picks, in terms of talent. Poe being raw, and Kemoco having durability issues that knock their value down a bit. I like Brock Purdy, I think he's another diamond in the rough that can translate to either a long term backup for the duration of his rookie contract, or a possible day 3 picks if he continues to develop a la Mullens. the jury is out on Kalia Davis, but he's going to be (hopefully) valuable towards the latter half of the season and towards playoff time - once he is healthy enough to play. This was a good draft despite screwing up the Hasty/Sermon situation.

Maybe it was Jed's pick.
3rd round pick or undrafted, you have to support every move your team makes to be the best if you believe the coaching staff and GM. Because once you get in the NFL (even if you were a first round pick) it's not just your talent, you have to prove it every game, every practice, every down, every play or you're gone. That's the NFL and why some of the stars are paid millions and some are not, why Jimmy G had to take a paycut to stay a 9er this season 😉

Time to move this thread?
He'll go to the Seahawks then become decent
Worst pick of the Shanahan era, for sure.

Hurd is up there too, but at least Hurd's lack of success was injury related, not a lack of skills.

KS blows at drafting RBs just sign them undrafted and stop wasting picks.

Joe Williams was bad too. Banks better show something or he could be in contention.

but the obvious answer is Solomon Thomas with Mahomes, Watson, and Lattimore on the board.

those are rookie mistakes in 2017, old discussion and time to forget about them. Pointless to keep talking about that.

Outside of the Mitchell pick, we don't seem to do well when It comes to drafting RB's or OL.
Thought they would give him one more year due to his draft status and work he put in but whatever it takes to keep mason and Wilson, think they are in line for some big games splitting with Mitchell

Sollybwas the definate miss there. It might have gone well if they would have not tried to make him lol Aaron Donald and just okay him inside. But, that was a bad pick and I remember most niner fans being against it and fearing they would get stuck and end up having to take him…gosh that pick made me so mad. Lol
