All I can do is cheer for Lance now and hope I am wrong about him. I see the WOW throws and see the huge potential. I also see the WTF throws and see a huge risk. I hope Kyle was right, He seems to love Lance like some other people.*fingers crossed*

when I saw a video comparing Fields and Lance, Fields was far twitchier as a runner, and I said out loud, Lances running is more like Kap.
lance tried to run over dudes barely better than high school dudes. He doesn't possess explosive lateral ability.
I will edit to say I wanted Fields and will judge shanahan harshly in both the pick and the trade if this fails. Hope I'm wrong.
lol

Kap was deliberate and strong as a runner. Both have strong arms and are dangerous in the open field as runners, but that's where the similarities stop.

Agreed. I wouldn't call Lance twitchy. More just straight down hill than making moves and alluding defenders. just trucking dudes. I don't think Fields is that twitchy either.

Garcia was pretty prolific QB for us. Too bad he didn't have a defense
Garcia gave him the nod to wear it

At least they went with potential and the chance for Kyle to mold someone. Much better than going with someone who limits the offenses ability to expand. It's bold and I like it.

It's actually the opposite. Lance has much more agility and ability to chop his feet and move laterally

I think he's wearing #9.
Trey's seems like he's be too respectful of his teammates to punk Robbie Gould for that number. My guess is that it will be number 5.

So how do you know that the Bears wouldn't have traded up ahead of the niners for fields in your situation?

based off what?
This kid ran a more pro style offense then any of the top 5 QBs. He actually huddled up. He called protections. He got half play calls at the LOS then had the ability to change the call based on the coverage. He played under center AND their offense was damn near the same as ours. He spent the past 5 months working with NFL QBs and studying NFL play books. His work weeks were exactly how an NFL QB has a work week during the season.
Who gives a s**t if he didn't throw a ton of bubble screens or ran some air raid/spread offense for 3 years...that doesn't make you "more ready" at all.
Pretending you or anyone knew Fields was gonna be there at 10-12 is just hindsight BS.

He no more or less "twitchy" then Allen or Herbert. Those are very similar prospects overall.

He's a qb for f**k sake. You want him to cut laterally and blow out his knee?????
