Yes they sure are. It's an overused term tho. Choosing to leave your feet when you could've stayed on the ground and catching it in stride isint really what the term "jump ball" is for.

I certainly want my tight end to jump for balls. If his foot is that bad he needs to retire.

I rather have him staying on his feet causing damage, then possibly getting damaged. A healthy kittle in the offense is key.

Get used to these types of passes folks. If you watched Trey's game tapes he gave his receivers a lot of chances to go up and get it. People were crying he didn't have the arm strength but they are wrong he just has confidence in letting his receivers make a play. He dropped a lot of balls on top of the receiver when they couldn't get separation. When his receivers had separation he had no problem putting it out in front of them to go get it.

Jump balls and dropping it in a bucket are different. I see more of trey dropping it in a bucket throws from his vids, than jump balls. Those the throws I like from Trey, where no jumping is required

Kittle was probably in man, the defender was facing up and showing his back to the QB, Lance put high for Kittle to snag knowing the defender wouldn't see it coming... happens countless times every Sunday during the season, Lance better know how to make that type of throw

That wasn't all that bad of coverage either. Day 1 of camp and already seeing tight throws and great catches. Damn it feels good.

just saying damn.. almost everytime he comes down with these jump balls he's getting injured. i don't care about ball placement. It's kittle landing that is worrisome

Just because he was injured there doesn't mean it was risky or to be avoided. It was just bad luck. People get injured on routine plays as much as plays like that.
