Plays in, and helps us win an important game keeps alive for to make the playoffs. See's us almost get to the Super Bowl.

Then he goes to a team who has this aura of thinking they are a gift from God, even though they haven't done s**t for many years... Owner that makes the team feel and walk around as if they are better than they actually are. I'm not trying to say they have been horrible, or a bad team, these past few years...but they haven't came close to their potential.

From there he goes to a blue collar kind of environment with Jimbo. With a Head Coach that gives off nothing but positive uplifting vibes. (Where as Mike McCarthy always looks and acts like he's holding in a fart).

Lol @ holding in a fart, probably the dairy from being a cheese head.

It would be good to see some consistency with Lance, he's got some talent, maybe this is where it happens for him. I feel like he is way more comfortable using his legs than throwing. It's like he prefers just to run it. Like it's less pressure or something. Getting out of Dallas was good, at least he doesn't have to deal with that d**k franchise anymore. Maybe he just needed the H lol

Honestly he has been balling out this preseason, I think it'll be enough to where if a starter goes down a team will seriously consider trading for him.
I hope he doesn't expose us for 6 touchdowns this week.

Pretty liberal use of 'balling out', lol.

He hasn't been that good his last 2 games as far as passing. 14-29 for 176 yards 0 TD's. Now as a runner he was better.

This has always been the Trey way. With us, all they remembered was the one good throw a game. To hell with the rest of the game. In this case, it's his promising 1st game to hell with tbe other 2

Yes and you same folks don't remember him helping us move past the 50 yard line 7 out of 8 drives in his first ever start vs the Cards (who were killing early that season). And we were missing starters all over, including Kittle... and our Kicker.

If Kyle wasn't so stubborn like he always is, if he would have just gave the replacement kicker one opportunity on those 7 drives.. maybe the kicker makes the kick and Kyle trusts him for more. Because we would have won that game if Kyle chose to kick it, each 4th down chance we had in FG range. But nope... Kyle kept on going for it on 4th downs... even tried the EXACT same fullback sneak he did from the previous week.

So, although JTB wanted to just grab some stats instead of watch those drives from last week... he would have seen Trey complete two deep passes that got his team into score position (that probably won him the backup job). In the one game where he didn't pass for much yards, he still moved his offense forward with timely runs. It's all about moving the offense forward...which ever way. Forward into scoring position.

I've always said that Trey Lance might be good on another team and not with the 9ers. The problem for Lance was that Purdy was processing the game much faster than Lance right outta the gates. I also said that no way they would keep a $10 million dollar back up, next thing you know Trey Lance to Dallas.
8 combined punts in the 1st quarter....
Still looks pedestrian at best to me.
I think Trey might have locked up the backup spot before the game. He only had like 2 drives was it? And they weren't great ones....so you would think Jimbo would have kept him out there to get some more work in... to show more.

But Harbs put in the other backups...
He's just so inconsistent. Like he was here. A good throw here or there. Then inaccurate and inconsistent. Never as athletic as advertised coming out either. I can't see him as more than a backup. Although he looks improved. No way he's starter material.
Trey Lance looked horrible last night. Exposed by Saleh. Yet, today, Niner Noise treats us to BS headlines like "Shanahan Suffering From Seller's Remorse."

Which is one more reason to never give NN another click.

Mac Jones look much better out there and more decisive. I would think by now Lance would look much better than he did last night.

Brock Purdy secured $265 million, Trey Lance trying to earn $2 million. My oh my how the mighty have fallen. lol
Mac Jones and his two interceptions in two games. Pretty obvious why you didn't respond to that other post in the Mac Jones thread.

Don't disappear from the Zone if Mac Jones ever has to come in and save the season.
