I wonder if the only reason the Cowboys grabbed him is that they think they could flip him for a higher pick than a 4th later this year if a few teams have a rash of injuries at the QB position.

I thought that at first, but this would be a good time for Lance to sit while Dak's contract runs out. 2024 is the out-year for his contract and it seems like they're gonna move on from him soon if Dak doesn't at least get them to the Super Bowl.
