Dude was absolutely on one yesterday, even for him. Another guy who feels like his approval is more akin to a kiss of death considering how habitually wrong he is. Good for a laugh once in a while.

If you're looking to GC for any real football insight, you're looking in the wrong place.

He's way more entertainment than a reporter, and he's not always entertaining.

Agreed.
I don't understand how we drafted a guy who was admittedly raw and now due to a series of a events is still realistically raw, but many of you think he should have gotten incredibly better via what....osmosis?

I remember when we drafted him some fans telling me it could take TWO full seasons for this kid to grow, but the idea was we would see and understand the growth. What happened to that thinking? Mind you he was traded up for and drafted to run this SB caliber roster from day one so what does that tell us about the decision making?

If Purdy isn't lights out Jesus in cleats this place is going to implode.

I'm not saying he's wrong, but he's holding on tighter than anyone else. I admire his tenacity.

I don't know who is holding on it tighter, NYniner85 or Grant Cohn. Both have been very entertaining to follow since yesterday's game.

The one thing about GP is he's a huge Darnold homer going back to USC. He can be a little skewed in that way.

That said, I think people should prep for Sam to be QB2. I've thought he would be but the unknown variable was how much progress Trey made coming in… doesn't seem like a lot so far.

I was a little surprised at how few reps darnold got last night, but I thought he looked pretty solid. Made some nice throws. I'm hoping we see more of him next game.

Grant's s**t yesterday crossed over into scumbag territory. NY not so much, thankfully.

I think the staff is more confident in terms of what Darnold brings to the table from a reliability standpoint. Lance is way more volatile, good and bad.

Taking L's daily but oh well. There are always those fans, just not many

Accurate. Sad to see the lengths (depths) some will go. haha. give it up.

Game over man….game over. It's clinical at this point

Dancing around the racism angle, and accusing Kyle of intentionally sabotaging Trey.

Basically gassing up the Trey nutters on Twitter.

It really is an unfortunate turn of events. We should be so past this going into year 3 with Trey. Was so excited getting past Jimmy finally (not a fan, my choice, sorry) and thought by now we would finally be in a great QB place. They should have let Trey play year one but whatever too late now.

I hope Brock is the one because year after year after year of this s**t might be fun to light it up on discussion forums but in reality it's a sad state of the franchise.
