Agreed. I was joking about how passer rating is a massively flawed way of judging qb play (even though a larger sample would be better.). People love the stat.
Virtually any rating system is going to give undue credit on some TDs. Inevitable.
And I really havent seen anyone loving the rating in this thread or in the QB forums in general. It's only brought up in defense of mediocre observation, really. That system pretty much went extinct a couple decades ago.
No, it didn't lol. Over the course of a few games or the season, it's a great stat for passing efficiency. But with any stat, it can sometimes not tell the story within a small sample size.

We'll look at other stuff. As the evidence shows it's far outdated.
Give me a bunch of other metrics and mention where someone ranks in passer rating I guess. I'll take that.
Don't give me the number individually,...especially for a game or a half. It doesn't mean sh** in that context. Come on,....show your IQ prowess here.
