he can want out all he wants but the question is whether a team wants him to be their starter or not. It's much more complicated than him just demanding to go elsewhere. Someone has to want him to be their starter enough to pay us what we want.
I personally would not want an unproven guy that wants to cry and run away without standing his ground and fighting where he is at. I would want a guy like Trey to say "hey, remember me? I am the third overall pick and I am gonna beat out this 7th round scrub!" If I were a GM I would side eye Trey for running away from the 49ers or demanding out. What you can't beat out a 7th rounder that has only played 8 games while you've played four? You won't even try?
I think it's a lil more complicated than that, in that if BP is healthy, he is the #1. There is no comp, for QB1. It's BP. It was a matter of is he healthy for week 1, now seemingly, he is. So TL seemingly is boxed out here.
