I've seen thru this guy for years,...lol. But to each his own.

For sure. All good, he's just doing his research as to what the fanbase is interested in hearing about. Sup David I know you're reading this.

He's for sure reading this place.
1) it's gotta be the most active 49er board
2) we are all brilliant in here, so why wouldn't he. Muhaha I think Cohn reads this place too.

I don't see that chart as a projection of Trey into the future though, I feel like some are viewing it that way. It's in no way telling of future output/potential. I think it just is a snap shot of his few performances regarding a couple metrics.

i don't look at it as "this is what Trey is and will be". There's also context that we know today that can be applied to explain some of it.

i personally find this kind of data interesting. If it was positive, I feel like a lot in here would be singing a different tune. For example, how the RPO game is much better with Trey - that would be like me saying it's a small sample size, we don't really know if it's better with him or not, irrelevant data. Which I also think would be dumb. Just sucks we have such little data with Lance that it's really all we can evaluate with him until camp starts.

Can't wait for camp to start! Really hoping he is eye popping improved, would be badass.

Cohn not only reads this place, he's got a pathetic sock-puppet that he uses to defend himself in the third person. What a loser.

Who is the sock-puppet?

Note: it's not me. I went to college as a physics major/math minor. Cohn can't fade me on deriving special relativity from scratch. Dude is an English major.

So what would he have to do to earn it? Kyle had a better idea than anyone else how raw Trey may have been when he drafted him, so to them say he had to earn those reps seems counterintuitive. What exactly did he do to earn the starting job last year? If Kyle's mentality is to make them earn it then I'd say he already has.

When we drafted Lance, Kyle said "I think Trey is the most NFL ready qb in the draft", so I really don't think Kyle thought he was as raw as he is.
Did they say anything in the presser as to why Lance is sharing reps with darnold?

He really said that? I don't remember, but that raises other questions for me then.

Let's go, Lance! Leave darnold in the dust! Force Kyle to make some really difficult decisions and even design unique packages for you so you can get on the field!

Ideally all three play outstanding and Kyle has to make an even more difficult decision. The better our QB room is top to bottom the better our team is.

That is a good quote I didn't know he said that. I know KS mentioned the Smith/Mahomes situation, and talked about that model, of JG year 1, and TL year 2. So I think the presumption was, after being in the bldg for 18 months, he should be ready to rock

Well, every single one of them played like trash their rookie year except Lance, who by comparison played like a below average NFL starter in his two games and other moments combined, and McBurger guy, who played like a below average NFL starter for the whole season.

So it wasn't exactly a wrong statement.

Exactly. Play well, stay healthy through camp.

Used to spam post his and his daddy's articles back in the day, and would sometimes show up and defend himself in the third person when people were ragging on him.

David speaking truth, and Grant being a troll; some things never change

David is speaking something that's as obvious as "Oh look the sun came out this morning"

Lombardi is getting petty to the point that he's becoming as biased as Cohn but trying to be more discreet about it(and failing)

Often a player change the mechanics in the off-season, it works in practice, but once in real game situation, the mechanic goes back to what it was before the change. So until you see Trey on the field in game day, you never know this mechanic tweak is going to hold up or not. There was nothing toxic about what David said.

Bingo. But then again, Rodgers has retooled his throwing motion and release. But I guess you can do that when you spend three seasons on the bench.

He could of been talking about between Mac & Fields. I remember it cause I was like "that's not true." Lol especially in regards to Lawrence.

ill try to find it. It was a couple years ago so it may be hard

Mac jokes def played the best. Lawrence was shafted by the worst coach in modern nfl history.

it's also hard to compare because this team was exponentially better than the rest of the guys situations. Rarely see a kid go top 3 to a stacked team.

the reason it stuck out to me was because I didn't think Lance was ready at all. Not that he wasn't capable, just very green. There is a difference between "can I play?" Vs "should I be playing".

at the end of the day, it is what it is. Lance needs to play to get better, I just personally feel like him sitting a year was good for him and the right thing to do. It really was only wasted cause he was so injured and couldn't work the way he wanted to.
Purdy about to end his 49er career .

higher ceiling . But Purdys floor is much higher than Lance's floor .

Let's see how Brock does in practice first. So quick to jump the gun.
We will actually get a glimpse of Lance before Brock.

Brock threw a lot infront of the staff yesterday, so he will get tomorrow off and play Thursday/Friday.

can't wait to get updates on how Lance/Darnold look.

i still think a qb gets traded - maybe darnold. The team seems to really like Allen.
