Isn't everybody arguing for what they think is best for the team? I see all three of those guys actively posting here in spite of disagreements with the team's decision making.

If you want to judge levels of bias, I suggest doing it by whether an argument is supported with at least some form of evidence and whether the logical underpinning of the argument is applied consistently (to multiple players in this context).

I agree, people who have the strongest opinions about players with the least amount of data are the most biased.

As in, the posters who are consistently negative about Lance are the most biased.

Then it goes the posters who are negative about Purdy, then Sam, then Jimmy.

In that order.

The inverse is also true. But we have some data on the forum now that shows most people want Brock as QB1.

Some are. Some just didn't like the pick from the jump and will never concede anything as it pertains to Lance. That's not NY. He's clearly all in on Lance and not big on Purdy, to the point I even told him I thought he was going out of his way to downplay him a bit, but he will gladly be all in Purdy when the time comes. He's just got it in his mind what a FQB should look like.

Isn't that exactly the same thing you're describing from Krizay and Chuck?

They have in their mind what a franchise QB should look like... and here they are posting on a 49ers message board and supporting a team that invested in, and played, Lance.

Beyond that, which of their arguments are supported in at least limited evidence, and who is sticking to their guns based on their own personal bias?

I just laid out to you the difference.

Probably because the argument extends beyond personal preference, or bias, and is actually supported with some level of evidence.

After reading the novel you posted to me yesterday, I think it's clear you don't intentionally misrepresent arguments... but you definitely struggle to understand them.

Having said that, I still want you to know I don't take these arguments personally. We can have knock down drag out arguments and I'm not walking away offended. I wish you and the family the best in dealing with your loss.

Is it actually a difference... or just an application of their preference prior to the team making a draft pick?

What is the actual difference in thinking the team f**ked up there, or is f**king up now in how they structure the roster going forward? Beyond the fact that there is additional evidence now of course.

Yeah there is a difference, just like I said above, I've even given NY s**t about some of his bias of late. You seem hellbent on arguing so I'm just going to bow out. There's a reason I generally stay out of these QB threads 🤣

Well, why did you do that?

Do you even read rivers posts for example? Ya NY is more biased towards Lance, but it's a major difference.

NY - I need to see more of Purdy

River : Trade Lance for a 7th, he's gonna be QB4, make him a fullback

How in the world is that the same lol.

I exempted River in the very first post I made on this topic, lol. I'm not including him with Krizay and Chuck for the exact reasons you're listing.

In my 2nd or 3rd post in the chain I did mention all three guys posting here in spite of disagreements with decisions the team made (or is making) but the three guys I was referring to were NY, Krizay, and Chuck.

Krizay has posts saying Lance will be a bust, not as extreme obviously as rivers, but it's still not the same as NY saying show me more.

And I don't fully agree with NY. I think Purdy looked the part of a QB that can be top 5. My biggest concern is how his this injury affects him and how he heals.

And who the hell is Chuck lol

I believe he's talking about Charliesheen hahaha

Regarding Brock's injury, I listened to an interview earlier with the doctor that performed mullens and had numerous discussions with Purdy personally said that Brock should come back exactly the same. I posted it in the Brock thread earlier. He essentially said it's not a matter of If but when.

obviously stuff can happen and we still need to see, it's a valid concern. Just hoping that brings you a little comfort in his recovery.

So they are different from River because they wouldve taken a 3rd and a bottle of tequila?
I had a chance to see some of TL's vid from this week... he has made some changes to his passing motion for the better, but not all of them that he needs... he is in transition right now, a passing tranny... he has cleaned up his loading and carriage, smoother, shortened, quicker and this was a must for him to do... he isn't slashing it across his body as much as he used to like a baseball pitcher, he has elevated the track of the elbow a little and it is leading more like it needs to but it it's not quite there yet... I have to give him credit as I can see he has worked on it as these aren't easy changes to make from where he started from... you can still see him wanting to pull the release across his body in some of these throws, not use his lower body.... but he still needs to bring the elbow above the shoulder plane more so he can make all the throws, and release toward the target not across his chest... time will tell if he is able to progress and be able to replicate this in games

watch Sammy spin it, dude has a live arm, a real natural passer... but it's all in his head and not sure he can change that Lol

Brandon Allen is functional, but will make it a good competition for QB3

didn't see QB1 BCB throwing towels anywhere
