Tennessee still doesn't have a quarterback outside of Malik (who they've already given up on) and Tannehill (who they save $27M by cutting him on June 2nd).

They're in the AFC and their GM was just hired from us.

Just saying

So who's going to start for us week 1 and take reps this offseason? And who's going to beat that eagles team?

Still drives me insane when people say "wE cOuLD hAVe hAd pARsOnS & BoSA!!!"

There was very little chance we were even looking at Parsons.

Slater. Slater would've been the pick.
Still the worst draft trade I've ever seen in my life

Should someone be held accountable if it doesn't pan out?

We had the luxury to make this move. if we were a bottom tier team.. the damage would have been greater

We're not completely out of the woods yet in terms of the consequences of the trade and pick, though it does appear we were able to successfully insulate ourselves at least at the QB position.

You said since 2017....our first 2 games alone in 2017 were 23-3 and 12-9 losses to the Panthers and Seahawks. Then games against the Cowboys, Eagles and Cards where we only scored 10.

See? Was that so hard? Lol now I know I went back and looked at scores wrong. Lol that's what I get for waking up in the middle of the night and looking at random s**t on my phone.

i def got 2017 wrong. The 2021-current was accurate. I'll have to go back and look at it when im not tired af. Hahah

if we can continue being successful this year then any consequence there might have been is no longer there. We will get our first rounders back and still have a very large core of players on contract

I mostly agree... the operating word in your post being 'if'.

It's not impossible we aren't back to the drawing board at the most important position after this season though. I think it's unlikely, but that would be a disaster. We could already be there if we didn't seemingly hit the lottery with a 7th round pick.
