You got no problem talking about comp % from that game and we all the weather affected it, without question. The weather overall in that game wasn't close to comparable to yesterday.

let's cut the stupid s**t. You don't like lance and never have. He threatened your boy Jimmy and who knows what else…how anyone can take anything you say seriously regarding Lance is beyond me. It's f**king annoying man.

I mean why are you going out of your way to s**t on a player that's not even playing right now?

Somehow it diminishes the site to argue that Jimmy didn't save the season but trashing Trey again and again with the same commentaries and stupid nicknames are perfectly ok.

It's f**king weird man. It's clearly more about how people talked about Jimmy YEARS after playing here (and some thinking it was time to move on). Those Jimmy guys couldn't stand criticism and now are trying to do it to Lance…"he had his chances" lol WTF 4 QRs of football? Give me a break.

They were never gonna support him.

Ya bc we obviously knew Purdy would be available with the last pick and he could be this good.

We should be able to get a good pick or two and a player, if we trade Trey.

Should be exactly like this last year with Jimmy. Unless you get the high price you want you hold onto him.

We started the 2022 season with the worst QB on our roster, progressively working towards our best. We got pretty lucky. Shanahan and Lynch were playing Trey because they had no choice but to double down on a questionable draft day decision. The niners would be watching the playoffs from the couch if Lance never got injured.

I would argue that Lance would have a market, so no, it wouldn't be like last year.

This argument is all silly anyways because Trey won't be on the trading block.

That's not it at all. The worst PURE PASSER, but at the time, no, he wasn't the worst QUARTERBACK, because what we planned on doing needed his legs. Jimmy wouldn't have done any better in Chicago. See the Colts in 2021.

could be one of the worst draft trades ever

Two can play that game. See Washington in 2019. It's foolish to think that you can replace the most significant offensive player on the field, i.e., the QB, and pretend to know what the outcome of a specific game may or may not have been. If Jimmy had been the QB Kyle might have called a completely different game. Jimmy's experience in those kinds of games, both good and bad, might have given him a better understanding of what could be accomplished. The defense might have played differently depending on how the offense was performing. You can't just plug a different QB into that game scenario and pretend to know how that would have affected the outcome.

Meant exact in terms of the 9ers getting what they want or not making a deal.

Not selling low

If Brock really is this good that's not entirely fair. Lance hasn't been Zack Wilson or anything.

it's like saying Drew Bledoses extension was one of the worst ever.

Compare the two...Trey vs Zack

And Bledsoe was eventually traded.

Right. Brock being really good doesn't mean Lance is terrible. In fact he played better than most of the guys he came in the league with. But if Brock is great, so sorry Trey.

Trey Lance is a non-instinctual athlete that is playing quarterback. We had one of those before. I'm not even sure his ceiling is as high as Kaep's, much less Purdy's.

So now Kyle choosed Trey as starter because he had to play him because of the three first round picks...I see that it´s getting better and better on this topic.
It´s Kyle Shanahan we´re talking about. The guy that litterally said "f**k I will put Aiyuk in the doghouse because I don´t like his attitude during training camp and I´m Kyle f**king Shanahan and you will like it!". And Kyle was the guy that wanted Aiyuk!!!!

But hey keep dreaming about this giant conspiracy that Brock Purdy was the best QB in training camp. "It was me Kyle! It was me all along!".
You know there´s a funny thing called improvement. And what is even funnier is that when you´re a young player and specially a rookie you can improve massively during a season. Nick Bosa against Tampa Bay in the first game of the season wasn´t Nick Bosa the best player in the Superbowl even if offensive holdings don´t exist in fourth quarters of Superbowl apparently. Same with Dre Greenlaw that season by the way.

So maybe, just maybe, Brock Purdy learned the game watching from the sidelines. Maybe just maybe he understood more the offense which is really not easy to grasp ask Matt Ryan. And maybe just maybe, Brock Purdy wasn´t the best QB at all in August but is now in January. Weird I know but let´s just believe Kyle and John are some sort of illuminatis that knew that the third stringer was a f**king killer and just wanted to lose games on purpose.
It´s so funny playing in PO mode every year for 10 weeks straight.^^
