No. Posters calling Garoppolo garbage or Lance a complete bust are merely showing that their knowledge of the game is severely limited.

Yes. I agree. I hate those takes because there really is no discussion to go along with them. More intelligent takes, whether positive or negative, help keep the conversation moving and more interesting.

I think if anything it's more disillusionment with our brain trust. Hard to figure out the draft day decision. We are gonna be 2 years in without much to show here. Easy to second guess the decision or the deployment of TL. A lot of ppl were first guessing.. no second guess needed.

It'll be that way until he balls out. I don't see anything anti-TL.. more like what was our front office doing giving up all those ones for such a raw guy.. or what was KS doing with all those designed run calls..

Don't be hypocritical faithful. You got mad someone posted a negative video about Jimmy and then you agree with SD's posts like the ones below, literally responding right to them. All offseason we heard about Trey's hairline, people were counting his wobbles in his throws, calling him a bust, saying he's soft and has a scared look in his eye. I know you saw those posts but for some reason you want to lie about it now.

WB, where is the hate?

Hate is personal attacks like I don't like this guy as a person or I wish ill on him.. I have seen those posts about other players.. not really about TL.

Saying I question the decision.. that's not hate. Saying it was a bad draft decision by our management.. that's not hate in my book. Saying he's not ready? He wasn't ready.. coach said that by keeping him on the bench year 1 and saying he will be 'learning on the fly' year 2

There's no hate here. I saw more hate for Ambry I can show you those posts.

I'm sorry, but if this isn't "hate":

"Tr_EXCUSES is a complete bust. Nothing in his favor. Garbabe non functional QB who we gave up too much for. Nothing can fix this trash."

Then nothing on this board qualifies lol.

100% on point.

If those trash posts by SD dont qualify as hate, then there is nothing on this entire board that is hate. SMFH.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Provided JG continues to play well, he will lead the 49ers into the playoffs. Provided the 49er defense is still playing lights out football, this team could go deep in the postseason. They might even win this thing. But, if that happens, what does Shanahan do next?

Does he continue with the Trey Lance development plan? In other words, declare Trey the starter once again and this time really trade JG away to the highest bidder? Seems like a risky move to make. IF JG does play well, and I capatalized that for a reason because that is a big IF, he will fetch a nice price of picks and possibly players.

I am just wondering how it will be handled this time, or if it will be handled any differently. I suppose circumstances and developments will dictate Shanahan's moves. After all, there's a long way to go. JG could still get injured, leaving the team with Mister Irrelevant at QB.

There's no hate here. I saw more hate for Ambry I can show you those posts.

First of all, I've been on record for claiming the Jimmy "hate" is completely exaggerated. That's because the examples people used to call someone Jimmy hater involved showing negative film, making statements like Jimmy's not a top 10-12 QB, or saying Jimmy didn't play well in the playoffs. But I've also been on record saying there's plenty of posters I don't agree with that make illogical arguments against him.

My issue with comments about Trey is that he's yet to really have a chance to prove himself and people want to make definitive statements about him anyway. And specifically right after his injury because they know there's no way he can prove them wrong since he's on IR. It's not only stupid football wise but it's pathetic in general.

So I have no problem if your argument is that nothing is considered "hate" unless they literally say "I hate Jimmy" or "I hate Trey". And I've never called out anyone for saying they don't think Trey is any good or that they don't think he will become good.

The problem is, I've seen you completely contradict the statements you just made right now. You said people were hating on Jimmy because they were showing negative film. That's why I'm calling BS on your post.

And to add to that, there were several posters who were put on timeout for mocking Trey's injury, and you have agreed with SD's posts when he's calling Trey garbage and trash right after he broke his ankle. So I'm saying you're lying that you haven't seen hate based on your previous standard for hate.

So again, it's not that I think we have to call these example hate. It's just definitions of what's considered "hate" change day by day and you're being hypocritical. Actually all of your opinions change day by day. Which makes it really hard to take anything you post seriously at all. I know I speak for a lot of people in saying that.

SanDiego49er has been trashing on the 49ers for years. Every pick is bad. Every head coaching hire is a mistake. His criticism of anything and everything 49er is nothing new.

Jimmy is not under contract with us after this season, so we can't trade him and his contract stipulates we can't tag him. I won't say it's impossible that he'll return (because it never is), but it's probably even more unlikely that he'll return than it was this last offseason.

lol, so true
Trey can't be ruled a bust yet. But most doubters are pissed about how raw he is and how long it was taking him. Not going to lie, I was expecting the offense to be a bit more dynamic when he was in, only to be severely disappointed in the gameplan. We were unfortunately robbed of his progress, and to see shanhanan adjust his playcalling as the uearvwent on because of the injury.

I think he would have had a breakout game vs the Seahawks. He looked pretty good in the 1st 2 series. It would have been a nice confident booster heading into prime-time vs the Broncos.

WB.. we can agree to disagree that happens and it's how you get a forum.. different points of view.. I enjoy reading WB posts no question about that

I've never seen these timeout posts you mention..

I talked about the negative film with you I have answered that in many posts now.. . it was film from last year the JG miss to Juice ppl were spamming it saying this is who JG is.. I thought that was a lil over the top. Imagine someone spamming the miss to Kroft next year in a same fashion.. I will be consistent and say that would also be a lil over the top..

The last thing I want on here is to be taken seriously. I post for fun and to share my views. Only real journos like Grant Cohn deserve to be taken serious.

The video of Jimmy missing the throw to Kyle Juscyck was posted because someone said, "Jimmy would have made that throw to Kroft" that Trey Lance missed in the Bears game. This has been explained many times. It has nothing to do with claiming "that's who Jimmy is".

If someone was saying a single clip was who Jimmy is. I'd be defending him just like you were. But that's not what happened.

as an edit.. my complaint about the vid you mentioned.. it's old news.. imagine if TL returns next year and someone shares his miss to Kroft and says 'remember folks this is who TL is'

that would be a clown in my book

Lmao...

So by your definition theres no hate for Jimmy either.
