Whatever happened to Furlow?

Bring back Ribs, Furlow and BamaNiner. Ribs was right about JG all along. He said he would be back this year.

Alot of hatred towards Trey because the Jimmy fans feel he is the reason Jimmy was replaced. But that's not the case. Jimmy was the Reason Jimmy was replaced. If it somehow doesn't work out with Trey longterm, They will just go look for another QB. Do you think they traded all that draft capital to find a replacement for Jimmy, To all of a sudden say yeah we change our mind and we are fine with having Jimmy as our franchise QB?

It would be the 1st time in NFL history where a team traded multiple 1st RD picks to draft a QB, Only to keep the QB they currently had longterm. Unless Jimmy is willing to sign another 1 year backup QB type contract, This will be his final season with the Niners.

Where is the hatred toward Trey?

I think if anything it's more disillusionment with our brain trust. Hard to figure out the draft day decision. We are gonna be 2 years in without much to show here. Easy to second guess the decision or the deployment of TL. A lot of ppl were first guessing.. no second guess needed.

It'll be that way until he balls out. I don't see anything anti-TL.. more like what was our front office doing giving up all those ones for such a raw guy.. or what was KS doing with all those designed run calls..

Atleast Trey got a lot of reps in offseason training camp as QB1. Maybe that's better than being QB2 with limited reps and running the scout team QB during the season.

From your buddies SanDiego, Jose, and Krizay just to name a few. You've quoted multiple times so idk why you are playing dumb again.
Trey should learn how to do a baseball slide.

He should learn also how to throw so KS prefers dialing those up rather than running him into a wall aka learning on the fly

edit - he should learn the slide as well

I was talking about JTB he didn't quote anything so it's hard to know what post he's talking about. Hard to know what one you are talking about as well.. Is it hatred to say TL is still learning how to play the position, be accurate, etc. I was hoping he'd be an MVP type guy like Mahomes year 2.. but my expectations were too high.. now I realize he is learning and has a ways to go
My expectation has always been pro bowl type performance in his 2nd full season as a starter. His injury has pushed that expectation another year down the road. Very disappointed but it is football and s**t happens.

He played a game in a lake before a freak injury. Goodness, he didn't have a chance to show one way or the other. The point was for him to grow into the position and play better as the year went along. That opportunity collapsed when his ankle snapped. But certain posters in this board were extremely quick to scream about failure the first chance they got because it was the only chance to yell aloud their preconceived notions. Ideally, I'm sure these posters would have loved more than one game in a lake to point to the incompetence of the FO and how much of a failure Trey is. But they only got the game in a lake so that's what they used as justification. It's small-minded b******t and has tainted this spoiled fanbase for too damn long.

Relax.. difference of opinion between was it a freak injury or was it mismanagement from KS with designed run calls.. minimally if KS is gonna go designed run call heavy he should inform Lance to slide.. and if KS did tell him to slide Lance didn't execute what coach wanted.. somewhere along the line a breakdown occurred imo..

that's all this is opinions.. I can understand other points of view.. no need to insult those who don't have your exact opinion
