I took the screws out to get more mobility but I think hebis going to keep it in to speed up recovery.
Ankle mobility isn't a big deal, I didn't become a runner until after my injury. Buster Posey caught a s**t ton of games after this type of injury.
1. So you had the same reported fracture? Was it deltoid tear along with it or no, and was it syndesmotic? What grade was yours considered? The reported injury is much rarer in the normal population so interested in hearing.
2. Even if,...you're not a world class athlete with world-renowned orthopedic specialists working with you though. You can't directly compare yourself and your situation to these guys when it comes to specialist support and recovery.
You said it "WILL" limit him long term. As you like to say, you want to separate fact from opinion on this site,...so I kinda wonder where you specialized in this field at to where you'd know this for sure? Because all we've had is shotty internet reports on the matter.
Limited ankle motion is not much of a limitation.
Huh? You skipped over a bunch and didn't answer #1.
Reminding you of what you said:

I had the same injury, the broken bones are an afterthought in recovery.
Any more specific one your injury or is that stuff a foreign language? I'm guessing the latter since you haven't answered,...which is all the more reason why you shouldn't compare yourself to Trey. This specific type of injury is unusual for everyday people,...and even then I'm speculating on what was announced, because I don't have Trey's file and the team didn't officially put out much.
But back to the highlighted comment above, cause I still dont know where it comes from: How do you know that his ankle motion will be limited long term?
