He's not a robot - he's only human.

He also said he looked good outside of the couple misses

he also said he missed high
KS also basically shut Cohn up during the presser. Fair to say everyone in the organization thinks he's a joke.

KS shut him down real quick. Cohn doesn't know ball. He's basically the tabloid that does what it takes to get clicks. He's worse than TMZ.
Well you know the guys a bust if our fans are more interested in talking about Grant f**king Cohn instead of football. Embarrassing

I am excited to see what Trey can do to shanny's offense
I really hope he can be a generational type talent given what we gave up for him

I was a Mac Jones fan and really wish we had it... because Mac was very accurate!! Treys passes mostly seem to be either too high or wrong shoulder .. or his players have to fall making the catch which doesn't allow for YAC!

Trey's main issue is accuracy and they say if you fix his footing / mechanics they you can fix his accuracy and ball placement .... something Mac was far superior

my question... which is easier to fix?! Arm strength or accuracy ??

Mac Jones went all the way to 15 for a reason. That should tell you what you need to know.

Neither is easy to fix but you can work on mechanics to improve both...but arm strength is capped off at some point due to physical ability. Accuracy isn't god given imo. It's taught and practiced.

Going on the 15th spot doesn't tell you what you need to know. That's like me refuting by saying look at the top picks for QBs in the recent drafts. It doesn't look good.

It doesn't?

Regardless while draft slot isn't indigitation of how that player will do vs the guys drafted ahead of him, it is an indication of how the NFL sees him for the MOST part as a prospect.

We've certainly seen countless cases of guys being drafted after the more highly touted players having a lot more success than those earlier drafted players. Tom Brady and Joe Montana being the prime examples.

However it does show you that teams think Jones may be someone who is limited or needs to be surrounded with top tier talent to really be good.

We'll see how it turns out. For every Tom Brady there is a Nate Peterman, Colt McCoy, Brady Quinn...etc

Obviously for every Patrick Mahomes there's a Vince Young, Jeff George, Ryan Leaf, Jamarcuss Russell, Giovanni Carmazzi...etc

What amazing metric is this? 🙄
Since we have nothing else to talk about, let's create a problem that may or may not exist. In this image, Lance is doing exactly what Chris Simms complained about, which is relying on his arm and not his legs/body. Look at the torque Jimmy has at just about the same stage in the throw as Lance. Lance's arm is up too high and his upper body weight is forward as well, which is an indicator of throwing mostly with the arm.

They look like statues in that picture. I was hoping Lance would add some mobility to the position.

Good problem to have given what Lance is able to do with that arm so far. If they get his mechanics right and he starts getting more of his legs/body into it his arm would be even more special.

Probably why he is missing high. He's throwing windmill style instead of loop style.
