I think people should go back and watch Josh Allen's rookie season. A lot people act like he couldn't complete a pass. The dude was slinging the rock, making wow throws and throwing piss missiles out the gate as a rookie. The difference between Josh Allen then and Josh Allen now is the consistency on the routine stuff, decision making and eliminating the wtf throws. Also, if you go back and watch his first season, you'll notice a f**k ton of passes dropped. The dude was throwing to Zay Jones and Kelvin Benjamin. That went away when they upgraded his weapons a few years ago

All I can say is if Trey sucks today then all of his supporters (on this forum) can go stfu until he turns it around. He's NOT a rookie. I want him to be awesome but I won't make excuses if he sucks either. The difference is that all of his supporters WILL make excuses. This is a win NOW team.

Basically, but this seems to be missed. QBs who shine immediately are a rare breed, regardless of where drafted. The majority take time. I'm thinking can we at least wait half a season before we crown the trajectory of a players career. Kap came in on a win now team as a second year player and looked all world. Steve Young, a player in his 7th year with many starts under his belt, came in on a win now team. Too much irrational emotion being passed off as reasonable takes.
