We saw a bit of an issue in preseason which caused throws to be a bit behind in some cases because of some wasted movement. I think that will be cleaned up
Also i am not a QB mechanics expert or junkie this might be wrong but I did see a little less wasted movement and i do think that's what causes some inconsistency in ball placement for the timing based throws.
I haven't seen a whole bunch saying he's cleaned up his upper body mechanics...maybe a little bit. Most of it is footwork and timing. I would call the dip and coming back up wasted movement, along with a false step here and there. You want to see horrible mechanics go watch Malik Williss**t Mahomes footwork was junk in college, Allen and Herbert had issues too.
His upper body throwing motion IMO won't change drastically this soon. That will take years (like Rogers) if he really even needs too. I'm not a QB guru either, just listen to a lot of that stuff from people that are. Overall most guys don't have any issues with the throwing motion, just needs to be more consistent with the footwork which will come with time. Sounds and looks like he's been doing a lot of work there which is a plus.
Right, I think most of the work he's done has been with footwork and timing, in the context of this offense. It was notable imo that Adam Dedeaux emphasized their familiarity with Kyle's offense when talking about the work they're doing with Trey.

I find that his videos are a lot more tolerable when he's not in them.

I actually don't mind thr vids with him in it. He has an obvious trolly & adversarial schtick (fire this coach, fire the GM, trade this star player in his prime, etc.🙄), but he can be insightful.
Keep working Trey, get ready to make that 'one play' that'll put the game away!

#49ers Trey Lance threw two really nice deep passes back to back in 11 on 11 drills
— Jennifer Lee Chan (@jenniferleechan) June 8, 2022
First one to Ray-Ray McCloud deep to the left side for a touchdown. He was being covered by Leon O'Neal and Tayler Hawkins
Second one to Jordan Matthews deep down the center for a TD - same DBs

#49ers' DC DeMeco Ryans on Trey Lance:
— Akash Anavarathan (@akashanav) June 8, 2022
"He's putting the ball on the money every time [Trey] throws. The accuracy is there, the deep ball is there. I'm excited for Trey [Lance] and what he can do. He's setting himself up to have a real nice season."

Two deep dimes from Trey Lance in 7 on 7s, both about 45yds in the air
— Jake Hutchinson (@hutchdiesel) June 8, 2022
First one hit McCloud in stride down the left sideline for a would be TD vs Thomas
Next throw was Jordan Matthews, same distance over the middle, again in stride, split defender below and safety over top

I'm curious to see what the interception looked like. Was it one where he was trying to fit into a tight window or a Jimmy specially of missing a defender in the middle. By the sounds of what they were working on today and the fact that it was intercepted by a safety it probably was an arm punt type one.

Lance looked good & aggressive throwing the ball today. 1st incompletion was to Ray-Ray McCloud vs Aubrey Thomas— couldn't get open on out breaker vs press. Lance came back & threw a beautiful go ball for a TD

Also hit Matthew on a deep crosser vs 3-buzz over FS in hook w depth

drake Jackson beat the tackle instantly for a would be sack. Reports say it was a toss up that happens in practice. I don't think you really throw balls away in camp too much
