It's pathetic how quickly posters are to try and ban others when they don't like how the conversation is going.

Tbh, I only see one side name calling and attacking posters instead of the post. Other than that, I actually enjoy they back and forth. Good points coming from both sides.

Who's talking about banning anyone? People are calling out a poster who's been banned for a reason previously.

What's the point of accusing others of being PBM or using Alt accounts? I'm sure the mods would have dealt with them already if that was the case. All it does is detract from the football conversations going on.

There's a reason they were banned in the first place and it was for derailing threads and doing what they're currently doing again. Maybe pointing what they already did will make them stop doing it again?

Again no one said so and so should be banned anyway…at least I didn't see anyone saying that.

So having a difference of opinion on what a touch pass is, is derailing threads? What do you call what you do in the Jimmy thread? I didn't trash Trey, I simply pointed out that what you guys viewed as a touch pass was actually a pretty standard NFL pass. That's not derailing. That's an opinion.

It was purely football conversation that I've seen. I haven't seen any name calling or attacking of posters in the last few pages that would derail the thread, other than a few calling posters Jimmy Stan's, PBM, or alt accounts. Which said posters have adamantly denied already several times in his thread, yet it continues to happen time and time again. Like I said, if that was the case, i would believe the mods would deal with them accordingly.

Great now i'm Now contributing to the derailment lol
i thought it was obvious what I pointed out and didn't expect a back and forth in this matter.

Anyways moving on...

I see conversations like this fair game. It pertains to football. It's okay to not view plays the same. That's why there is a discussion board for it. Remember when some thought it was Jimmy's fault for Kittles dropped pass against the packers that would've gone for a TD? No one called that poster a PBM or an Alt because they disagreed with their view of the play lol

That's fine, I'm not saying anything about touch passes. Which it clearly was….but damn near everything you discuss always circles back to be about Jimmy at some pt. Again it's inevitable. As far as I remember it part of the reason you got banned the first time.

As far as the Jimmy thread goes, there's a reason why it always seems to be you vs everyone in there.

anyway back to discussing football.

He admitted he was said banned account to two mods. I mean what's there to derail right now? It's June 3rd. Yes I'm fine moving on as well.
Anyways, I'm interested in Treys ability to keep the winning culture going as he progresses as an individual player. Kind of like how RW or Tom were able to win while going through their early growing pains on stacked teams.

All I care about are W's even if they are ugly. Individual stats don't mean much to me if it isn't producing wins. His team is too stacked and he conference is too weak (compared to AFC) not to make the playoffs. Anything after that will be sometime be determined to lucky bounces. Not always foes the best team win in the playoffs. But I do expect us making he playoffs. I believe I have us at 10-7. This includes lance growing pains.

I just want development from him.

I want development as well. Call me greedy but want wins too to go along with that. Like RW and Tom early years on stacked teams.

Im sure players like Trent Williams, Warner, Bosa, Juice, Ward, Kittle, Armstead would agree, and believe our time is now to make a run youngin at QB or not.
When's the next open-to-the-media practice? Just looking forward to actual content and not rehashed arguments.
Based on the little we've seen out of OTAs, the teams response to Mack retiring might be to just have Trey do more simulated pressure drills. (Gif not related)

I believe it is every Tuesday

Take a 20 yard shotgun snap and stop worrying about the pass rush. Trey's arm is good enough. He can throw 30 yards for 5 yards + 15 more in YAC. Problem solved.

Similar easy throw actually and Trey will miss easy ones too. Every QB does if you actually watch football just not act like you do.

Not really similar. Jimmy had a wide open Juice with no one around him….Trey had a play to Sheffield with S/DB above him. He had to layer that throw in. Yes you should expect your starter to make both those throws

No he didn't lol. The safety was a good 15 yards away when he threw it. It was an easy throw. Yes one that Jimmy missed but it was wide open. Again that's not a hit on Trey as he hit the easy throw so there is nothing negative about it but to act like it was some magical throw. It was a good throw to a wide open guy. The announcer even says "wide open".

Again no hate towards Trey, it was a good throw but not some amazing touch pass. The one I provided was much better.

I'm curious as to why you chose to post a still image from the play that cuts off the fact that there was a safety closing in from the top. Why even post a still image at all when there is a video of the play?

The reason I posted that play wasn't to show one of the world's most difficult throws. I posted it as an example of Trey putting some touch on a throw to fit it in between two defenders in response to a poster that said Trey can't throw with touch, which he clearly can.

To show the 10 yard gap with the ball closing. Lol I really have to explain this? The safety wasn't close. This was a simple throw from an NFL standpoint. What do you suppose the announcer meant with "wide open"?

Credit to Trey as he hit it but it was an average throw.

The point was that it was a throw with touch.
