"I've heard great stuff about him behind the scenes," Glazer said. "I heard they love him. They're enamored with him. He does some things in practice that make you go, 'Oh, my goodness.' But he's young.

Lol Twitter is such garbage.
There are a lot of question marks with him. I keep seeing he's not ready. They are consistently underwhelmed by him. He needs to step up his game a lot from where he is now.

Found this "interpretation" of what Scangerallo really meant when he was on Cosell's podcast as he described draft eligible QBs -

Let's summarize what Scangerallo said he values:

1. A quarterback who faced heavy pressure in the pocket during college and wasn't a Pro Day wonder (i.e. not Lance. North Dakota State had terrific pass protection, and he had a phenomenal Pro Day).
2. A quarterback who elevated his program (i.e. not Lance. North Dakota State is the best program in the FCS. They compete for championships every year no matter who their quarterback is).
3. A quarterback who was a multi-year starter (i.e. not Lance. He started at North Dakota State in 2019, then played just one game in 2020 due to the pandemic, then he declared for the draft).
4. A quarterback who thrived in two-minute situations in college (i.e. not Lance. He famously had zero two-minute situations at North Dakota State).
5. A quarterback such as Mac Jones or Kenny Pickett (i.e. Not Lance).

It seems clear that when Scangarello talked about highly-drafted quarterbacks who fail, he was describing Lance. And if Scangarello truly believes Lance will be a bust, then the 49ers needed to get rid of Scangarello and replace him with someone who thinks Lance can be great.
It's too bad the 49ers wasted the first year of Lance's development under Scangarello's pessimistic watch.

*** These are not my thoughts or what I believe to be true about T. Lance.

Dude you are direct quoting Cohn's interpretation. Word for word. Citation, my man!

Lol too ashamed to admit Cohn has a good theory here.
Of course I still think it will be hard for him at least half the year.

Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk + Run game and Kyle the offensive genius has head coach. How does one not have success with all of the above mentioned?. I'm expecting big things from Lance this season.

See any quarterback during the Shanahan era besides Garoppolo. You can have all the right pieces and the right coaching but you still need the right guy behind center. I think every 49ers fan that isn't a determined masochist is hoping Lance is that guy but until we see him on the field for an extended period of time, its impossible to know.

Jimmy's never been the "right guy",....though. If he was we'd have a couple extra Super Bowl trophies.

He's only been better than a couple other nobodies. Not the greatest claim to fame.

This, He'll have the season to prove the question marks and doubts wrong.

These 'problems' you refer to come from extremely un-reliable sources. the nature of the nfl off season
