Some people have a formed a idea that he spoke to Scangarello because ML wrote for eagles years ago...well before Rich was even on the eagles team for his one season there. If there was anything to be disappointed by at this stage, it's probably his running ability, which is fairly underwhelming. I suppose it's not terrible, but it's more straight line a la Josh Allen without the trucking ability.

We knew he was extremely raw, he's only started 2 seasons as a QB and one of those was in HS (lol). Which, in my opinion makes it absurd to spend 3 1sts and a 3rd on a prospect that I considered "intriguing.". I slightly preferred Mac Jones, but don't really have a problem with taking Lance over Jones, moreso the value of the pick.

He's Josh Allen-ish as a prospect, but there's a good reason why the bills stood pat to take him rather than spend 2 extra 1sts and a 3rd. The rush of failure to develop is relatively high

So, what is it with all of these new posters coming in here and talking trash about Lance or Jimmy just to try and stir things up. Not sure I see the point of any of it. They're not contributing anything useful to the conversation and are making what has already become a fairly toxic environment even worse. Must be some kind of millennial thing. Make yourself as annoying and unpopular as you can on social media in an effort to draw attention to yourself so you can validate what is probably a pretty pathetic existence. What's the world coming to.

Glazer reported that we are "enamored" and lombardo says that we are "underwhelmed"

The media just needs stories and now they have a talking point until something new comes around. It's why I don't listen to a lot of mainstream sports shows anymore. It's narrative and rating driven.

How can anyone take that guy seriously?

I mean yes, kudos to him for being an NFL fan who was actually able to impress a team enough to give him a job. He did it back when the internet was in its infancy, youtube wasn't a thing and it was hard to get information that's a lot more readily available now but if you look into his story he wasn't actually a player evaluator for the Jets. He was basically an intern who was an errand boy. There is a reason he hasn't been with an NFL team in decades.

His takes are absurd and out there. He thinks Tebow is a legit NFL QB. That should tell you all you need to know. At one point he was trashing Trey without even watching the Houston tape.

He's a hack who is using his former glory to try to legitimize his stupid opinions but fact is he hasn't done s**t in years and is clearly no more qualified than fans who know this sport well.

Lombardo's source is VERY likely Scangarello so take it with very little grain of salt.

Not the first time a person leaving the organization decided to throw out some sh*t that wasn't true to stick it to the team. Do we not recall the Matt Miller report from "inside 49er sources" who claimed Kyle and Lynch were at odds with each other?

Turned out to be complete BS and Kyle and John were ironically vacationing together with their families when that report dropped.
