Is KS ready? Ready to open it up? Only one who can stop Trey now is KS.
and the offensive line

We have a PFF #3 graded line out of 32 and we haven't even gotten Banks rolling yet which we will plus Moore.

Trey is ready. Kyle Shanahan has expressed his confidence in him and the Jimmy fanboys are shaking in their boots. They know the end is near. They are grasping on to straws at this point.

Trey will receive all 1st team reps in OTA's and TC. The offense installed will be one that leans more towards Trey's set of skills. Trey would have to look unconfident and incompetent in OTA's and TC for Shanahan to change his mind. Because even if Trey shows that he can perform at Jimmy's level, which he already has, you have to go with Trey who has a higher ceiling to grow even though Jimmy has more experience. On top of that. If Jimmy is going to be competing for the job, he will be late from the start and he would have to beat out Trey. Not the other way around.

This argument that Trey isn't ready because they went with Jimmy in the playoffs has absolutely nothing to do with how they feel about Trey going foward this season. You cannot use the "going with injured Jimmy over Trey in the playoffs" argument. Surprise surgery means they had no idea how severe that injury was. Also, throwing an inexperienced rookie in during the playoffs is not the same as having him prepare for the job in the off season and starting the season from day 1. They are two completed different situations with two completely different sets of circumstances.

Well said.
I had a dream that we were in the superbowl with trey. I don't recall who we were facing, but the lead kept changing and it was a nailbiter. I woke up before the game was finished.

Knowing Kyle we probably blew it in the 4th.

you may either have PTSD from Jimmy as QB or 6 years old
Has Trey Lance ever thrown a spiral?

Granted, Steve Young couldn't throw a spiral to save his life either, but it's really funny to draft a QB so high and trade so much to get him when he can't even throw a spiral.
Looks like a spiral to me.

Has Jimmy ever thrown a ball more than 10 yards deep and outside the numbers? It's really funny to want to extend a QB and pay him so much when he can't even throw deep outside.
Did Montana or Young?

I guess you missed the throw to Aiyuk in the NFC Championship game. That was about as many as Montana/Young would hit of that type per year as well.

That's what I'm talking about. You don't spend 3 picks on a guy who throws the old Shaun Hill came down like a punt pass.
