You can post stupid drills.
You can keep talking about how smart he is
You can keep talking about how mature he is
You can keep talking about how Shanahan went all in for him.
You can keep talking about how he "improved" from the cardinals game to the Texans game.
Talk talk talk. I know what I want. I want results in the win column. That's why we drafted him. I don't care about one play exciting tds. I don't care about a 99 madden rating. Show me the wins and I'll happily shut the hell up.
Cool, that means you should stay off the Lance thread until regular season, seeing as you're not capable of forming an opinion based on what Lance has shown, and can't tolerate other people's opinions and insights.
Why is it ok to have an opinion that Lance is the 2nd coming in here, but if someone has doubts they get ridiculed and called a troll. You can't have it both ways.
"Only people who love Lance are allowed to form an opinion."
The point of the forum is to express and challenge opinions.
Your post was stating that you don't care what anyone says, you have an entrenched opinion that won't change until you see results in regular season.
Which is cool, but what's the point of jumping on this thread during the off-season then when all you can do is debate Lance's rookie performance?
And people don't have to be pro-Lance, I just challenge the false narratives and distorted views on his performance and potential.
There are legit arguments to be made as to why he may not pan out such as him potentially getting injured like Sam Bradford or Robert Griffin.
Or him potentially being turnover prone because he has a tendency to throw too hard on short passes that bounce off receivers hands or him trying to gun it into coverage. I was impressed by the Texans game, but he still came close to throwing three (3) more ints in that game.
So yeah, express one's views, engage, debate, but maybe you shouldn't be on the thread or question your own positions if you're not up to the task.
