So distracted by the we're gonna downgrade remark I forgot to comment on the GB is a "clearly superior team". Now let me prepare my comment on this topic...

Ahem...

We beat them because of a blocked field goal and a blocked punt. How many times in NFL history have those CHANCE related plays happened together in the same game? Dude, your head is buried in a butt.

Saying GB is "clearly superior" is a laughable take. They certainly didn't show any superiority in either game. They have a franchise QB and the rest of the roster is clearly inferior. That's why we are able to go toe to toe with them and win. Almost swept em and beat em when it counted.

hyping up Lance? Nah I've maintained from day 1 that he's uber talented but needs reps to feel confident in his reads. I've said there will be bumps in the road whenever he finally gets to play…you got others in here saying Mahomes sat for a yr so that means Lance will be him & I said stop that s**t.

You've made you bias known in here for this situation for a while…now you're exaggerating saying I'm thinking he's gonna be a MVP out the gate or take us to the promise land from day 1

I also don't see why SF can't win 10 games with him next yr. 29th in passing attempts last yr. Jimmy missing multiple reads every game. Playing hurt for multiple games…and yet they still made it to turn NFCC. Let's cut the s**t thinking Jimmy is some FQB.

You're right about resetting feet. I made an edit in my post. But squaring hips and shoulders gets your core in the throw and is proper technique for those situations. Improves the probability of positive outcome. He'll get there. What's the argument?

10 is a lot.

I don't see it with our schedule. Trey will shine in 2023.

The argument is his off platform throws are no different then the ones I posted from other NFL QBs.

we will see about 2022.

JJimmy's mechanics never impressed me as ill-considered or lacking in structure. I think what you're saying is his structure wasn't the best structure. What I'm saying is when I look at Ray on those rollouts I don't see any consideration of mechanics. Which is fine for a 21 year old. But I'll definitely look a little more closely at clips of Jimmy to try and understand what you're talking about and what could be better. I don't understand why you're overhyping tray and setting him up for failure just like a lot of other people on this forum. Nothing against the kid but to me it's a stretch thinking he'll be winning 10 games for us next year. Again only crazy webzone Kool-Aid drinkers expect a kid that young with such a little experience to take us to the promised land

We are winning 10+ games in 2022 with Trey.

Wildcard at minimum and challenge for the division as the hope.

Key is the progression of a more seasoned Trey by end of the year going into the playoffs and his form.

NFC is weak and wide open.

NFCW is still stout, but the NFC in general is much weaker than the AFC. And if Rodgers/Wilson/Murray leave, it'll be even more so. The niners have the best or second best NFC roster, even with an unknown at QB. The playoffs are absolutely an expectation.

are we talking about the maxx tweet? no man. he's off his wriong foot and his chest is pointing to the crowd.

BUT I'm totally willing to accept that the clip was an outlier and all the other rollout drills were better. How's that?

The fact that people are posting practice clips to argue how great trey is takes the argument in the opposite direction, don't you think?

We need to plan properly for 2022 and anticipate obvious contingencies to give the NFC's best roster the best possible chance to get to the big show.

You guys will never learn with your running to the left and heaving a60 yard throw that makes a qb. Just stop with idiotic madden thinking. Im sick of this s**t.

Trey needs to learn to carve a team from the pocket. Like Stafford, Brady, Brees, Manning, mahommes, Elway, Montana etc.

You know who failed in the NFL? Rocket armed athletes who never learned to qb.

Don't show me nasty clips of athletic off platform throws. Show me consistent 80 yard drives. That's what it takes in the NFL. The game isnt changing.

Out of all the QBs you named three played most of their rookie season - Stafford, Manning and Elway.

None of them had more TDs than INT. Manning had arguably the "best" season and it was in leading the NFL in interceptions.

None of those guys were consistent as rookies at what you're babbling about. Having the ability to make those type of throws doesn't disqualify Trey from making the "standard" throws from the pocket.

NNobody is saying Trey has underwhelmed. Just said he's not going to be ready in 2022. That's the argument. And ready means getting us in the playoffs with 10 wins or more. Tall order for a Cub Scout who's 22. Can you name any NFL quarterback that has taken his team to a winning record at 22? Doesn't happen a lot

Thanks for posting all tjese. I was thinking of mahomes. Maybe its just me but in pretty much all the pro clips i see much more stable upper and lower body mechanics. Is it just me? Shoulders parallel to line square hips. For pretty much all. There's core in all those throws. Mostly shoulder for trey.

I expect better form from pros in their mid twenties than an excitable teen who cant wait to get the ball out early into an open window he sees. I think that's expected.

And please don't try to turn this into a Jimmy versus trey thing. Now who's being unnecessarily argumentative.

I would say it's definitely just you. Trey looks very fluid in the clips and has great ball placement. Not sure why we are upset with these clips. The niners decided to release some wow throws to give the fan base/media a nice little tease.
