After some digging we are redrafting Trey per ESPN they say more than enough was shown for us (49ers) to feel he is the guy.

I'm actually surprised... was Mac chosen above Trey?

No Wilson was still #2, Trey still #3. Mac still #15. None of it makes any sense.

Only real QB change Fields to the Vikings at #14

This doesn't make any sense. I mean, Pitts over Chase or Parsons?

Parsons flew up to #4 Chase was still #5 I think Pitts to Panthers. I mean would the Jets really take Wilson again? Really? Over Chase? Or Lance?

And people pay money to read this s***?

After re watching his Arizona start and his Houston start i could see the difference on his improvement. What i loved from the Houston start and a positve sign for the future is he brings that big explosive play capability that with all due respect Jimmy just couldnt do. I feel there will be a lot of wow moments from Lance. As fun as the wow plays are what he lacks is those middle of the field plays JImmy was so good at. Once he learns to hit those on a consistent basis and add in his running and deep threat i see a upgrade at that position. Looking forward to watching him grow next season.

Trey is sneaky quick in the pocket - I don't see him getting sacked much next year.

We still have some work to do on our O line, but he'll definitely take fewer than Jimmy would. Something we've lacked for YEARS now is a QB with pocket presence and escapability, dating back to happy feet Garcia. QB doesn't have to even have Trey's running ability, just mobility. So excited for next year!

The highest risk of Lance busting imo would be his head gets messed up from the $. When you give 21 year olds millions of dollars its always risky.
I think he will be fine due to the way his parents raised him, but I doubt he will be showing up at practice in that old Malibu anymore.
Or he dates a crazy activist chick and turns into Malcolm Y.

We got a winner if Trey is only top 10. Theres more elite QBs in the league now than I've seen in my lifetime.

It's pretty insane how many great QB's there are in the league:
Josh Allen
Aaron Rodgers
Patrick Mahomes
Russell Wilson
Joe Burrow

And then you have A TON of players you could argue being up there: Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, Derek Carr, Justin Herbert, Matthew Stafford, Lamar Jackson.... (I like Herbert)
Even very solid QB's like Kirk Cousins and an older Matt Ryan are just average QB's in today's league.

Herbert easily belongs in that first group.

Maybe if Herbert could get his team to the playoffs.
Blame that on the coach always trying on the 4th down instead of kicking field goals.

Hard to do that when your coach is a moron.

Herbert is the real deal - guy is a good player.
He's not good yet. However every niner fan I talk to saw the kids effort even in his first game. Kid wants it bad.

we can definitely work with that. Hard work will carry him very far. s**tty quarterbacks to average ones and average ones to great ones

Well he did wait until he was in his last game at NDSU and had one foot out the door before he put BLM on his cleats and took a knee.
It didnt go over very well in Fargo. I sure hope he doesnt go down the same road as Kaep.
