the vikings game was a huge game i wouldve argued bigger than titans because it was in conference and with his injury its hard to say im off the "jimmy train" it isnt like he was healthy and played badly

the vikings at least were respectable.. we lost to a wounded titans team but worse...... jimmy helped them beat us...
you do know the tians are the #1 seed right now right

cc was never on the jimmy train to begin with lol.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good trolling.
I kinda hope TL starts McVay would have no clue how to stop him.
Start trey.

I'm ready to roll with Trey (well I have been all year) the unfamiliarity that defenses have with him could well be enough to catch them off guard.

There's no way Jimmy will be 100% for the rest of the season, and it will effect some throws, just not worth it for me. Titans Jimmy cannot win.

ugh if only they beat the Titans then we wouldn't have to worry about s**t this week

I tweeted out that Jimmy Garoppolo was the reason the 49ers went from contenders to pretenders in 3 hours.

However, considering the Titans were starting 3 backup lineman and threw almost exclusively to A.J. Brown while max-protecting every play. They only had 3 receivers running routes almost the whole night. They couldn't run the ball at all. The fact that the defense didn't post a shutout in those circumstances is also appalling. There's no excuse for that.

Jimmy sucked. He threw 2 bad picks(of course one was after he tore a ligament in his thumb). But, he also tied the game and the defense couldn't stop A.J. Brown and Tannehill from scrambling to win the game or stop Brown from converting like 5 or 6 3rd and longs. THAT should NEVER happen.

Whilst that's ultimately true, we all know that thumb isn't healing, if he plays it'll be through injections, and I just don't see how it won't be an issue.

Healthy Jimmy Vs healthy Trey is probably an easy decision for Jimmy at this point.

Banged up Jimmy Vs Trey is even easier for me, and it's clearly Trey.

The D came out on fire on a short week traveling cross country. Game should have been 21-0 in the 1st and salted away. I think the expectations for a D under those conditions coupled with the offense giving the ball back and keeping them on the field is a tad unreasonable

IMO it isn't. All rookies are starting at this point (Mills, Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Jones, etc). With all they invested hard to keep him on the bench at all I imagine.

Keep in mind the expectations for JG also. I agree with your post Hoov but it applies to JG as well. Dude had a broken hand played anyway short week road game vs possible AFC 1 seed. Team that I don't know if JG has ever gone against Vrabel who's a defensive coach and ex defensive player. D gave up the 3rd and 23 which was really bad. Also had a drive at the end where they needed a stop and couldn't get it. I had blame for JG but that was tempered a bit finding out he was playing with a bum throwing hand.

Jimmy broke his hand during the game, not before it. He had already thrown an interception and missed Juice on an easy TD before he got injured.

Not excusing those throws but hard to make plays down the stretch with a broken hand.

Oh I agree. The 2nd pick was clearly hand related and he did rebound with the late drive, which was quite impressive. I'm more focusing on a wasted defensive effort in the 1st half and the goal line pick and Juice overthrow. That's 14 points off the board. Not excusing the 3rd down conversions, but I also know the circumstances the D was under so trying to be a little more understanding as to why things unfolded the way they did as the game went along for them.
