Jed has done a lot to cause pain to this franchise, but he's definitely on the way to getting it back on track.

This makes it obvious that he and Lynch had to overrule Shanny. Obvious. Nobody had Mac CousinsSmith anywhere near the third pick. He couldn't out run college nose tackles.

lol wtf? Not sure what some of you guys aren't getting...the whole Mac Jones at 3 thing didn't come from anyone who mattered in SF.

Someone made a great point that if any leaks came from the 49ers pointing to Jones at 3 it was from the scouts who ASSUMED he was the pick because Kyle and John weren't telling them anything.

How? The only thing obvious is that there isn't ONE SINGLE SHRED of evidence besides baseless media speculation that Shanahan EVER preferred Jones to Lance.
