Ban if old.

This was absolutely a fantastic breakdown.

He covered everything from his foot mechanics to tighter delivery and summed it up from a coaches perspective: "The film is frustrating as hell" as all the designs AND primaries are open (often times the 2nd and 3rd too) but Trey is talented enough to go off structure when he doesn't trust his knowledge or eyes and still make a play. And that's exciting.

Remember, this is going to be his mindset for quite a while:

"I appreciate when I can play how I play and be off schedule." ~ Trey

You saw that in this film.

Kyle is definitely going to reel him in on all of these as time goes on but there's a lot to learn from in just this one game.

The deep Out to Jennings from the far hash that is a power throw.

Lance on designed runs: 3.4 ypc (4.1 ypc excluding runs on 3rd/4th and short)
Lance on scrambles: 8.5 ypc

None of his designed runs have gone for more than 7 yards.

Yeah he's more Allen/Herbert when it comes to running then Murray/Jackson.
Not sure how many people following niner fan pages on IG but damn niner fans there are saying lance is a bust already people don't realize people develop differently.

Maybe Jimmy doesn't need more reps. maybe he's doing what kyle wants, and its a hard thing to do. maybe kyle will want trey to do similar things over time. Anyway your never ending jimmy bashing is totally uncalled for, unprofessional, monotonous, and frankly unbalanced. Knowledgable posters should articulate their criticisms accurately and give credit where it's due, not crucify a player for the 1) failures of FO roster management, 2) the inherent challanges and short comings of the the coaches game idea, or 3) the lack of performance of fellow teammates in crucual areas as well, such as pass protection.

Which is what is being done in this thread for no reason anyone can see. Not just by you but several others as well.

Banning or timeout is totally appropriate in the face of repeated dunder headed trolling which degrades the informational content of the thread. Yet the mods are totally silent again, for no reason anyone can see.

Oh the irony. Your posts degrade every thread you opine. Get outta here with your holier-than-thou b******t.

Those folks should go back and look at Alex Smith's first three seasons. He threw 1 TD in 7 starts as a rookie and 2 TDs in 7 starts in year 3.

Here is a video breakdown by JT O'Sullivan of Trey Lance's performance against the Texans. Great stuff. The breakdown really shows why Lance is so frustrating. He's making a lot of mistakes but he's also making some big time plays. Fans are right to be frustrated because Lance isn't there yet.

Most rookies look like a train wreck

Trey's HOU performance was outstanding for a rookie QB...especially given all the context surrounding it

Internet anonymity just lets people hate and be vile and troll with no repurcussions.

Have to be an angry person to be mad at trey for what he did that game.

Fans shouldn't be frustrated over a 21 yr old rookie who's played in 2 games since 2019. No one should expect him to be a finished product.

my takeaway from that breakdown is he's doing pretty damn good for a kid that needs reps…a lot of his issues are completely correctable with more time.

Yup. I guess it depends on who you are with how much you can get away with. I called someone out for calling posters idiots and the mods did nothing. All I got in response is that how dare I tell someone about the forum rules, I haven't been here long enough. This place is sometimes a stinky cesspool.

You don't seem to be helping. Try using the report button instead of sounding off in a football thread.
