Ok one more thing about trey's throws. Did anyone else notice that he still struggles to throw spirals consistently? I've never seen a qb at this level struggle throwing spirals this much since peyton manning lol. Yes peyton threw a lot of ugly balls and that didn't stop him. But I think in bad weather and windy games it is totally going to affect him (peyton was way worse in bad weather games perhaps because his imperfect spirals not cutting through the wind). Maybe this is something that he will fix or maybe not....is it an issue?

He doesn't throw good spirals.

He threw a nice one to Aiyuk over the middle. So, he has it in him.

This is all great but we just beat a 4-11 team. I mean a horrible football team. This ain't Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald & Co. They are 12-4, we need a W to get in the playoffs. Lance is going to to beat a real good team on Sunday. We have a chance to be a 10 win team.
So I heard about how in the pregame SNF that Simms and Brees was highly complimentary of Trey does anyone have a recording or remember what they said

It's a much tougher task ahead.

Two things I just learned from watching breakdown of the game.

he has happy feet. Too much time spent trying to make guys miss. They don't miss at this level often and 2 he's not that Lamar Jackson RG3 type of guy. Just cut upfield and get what you can. 7, 8 yds the difference between a 1st and turnover on downs is here.

his throwing mechanics is very Philip rivers esque where he throws really strong but it's more of a dart spear type of motion. If he can somehow launch it at a higher apex like brady, romo he'd have less wobblers. But then again mahommes makes it work somehow.

show the kid tape of like daunte culpeppern /'steven McNair. He can do that. He's trying IMO to be like like Vick which he simply doesn't have the foot speed to make those type of plays and it's hurting his run game

I wouldn't quit your day job

That whole assessment was just off

Same. Your emotional crying for months was enough. That's why i go after you. Every day dude. But I'll leave you alone. We can all cheer and not cry about Trey now until you guys get sick if Trey.

Take a break dude. Posts like this aren't productive or helpful in anyway.

He's been at this since he made a new account. The fact that he hasn't been banned again is something else...

I'm proud of my boy Trey - he did good yesterday.

So good...

Big win and props to Trey for settling down in the 2nd half. I saw some things that scare me early and then some things that gave me hope later. I like his pocket escapability but his actual scrambling past the line of scrimmage isn't translating right now.
The pick was ugly but he had the right idea, just have to get more depth on the throw. I'm hoping the catch by Kittle in the seam gives him more confidence to attack the middle more.
Like I said yesterday, he has to start from here on out. DO NOT PUT JIMMY BACK IN

I don't think Jimmy's thumb is going to all of a sudden get better. I think Trey gets the assignment against the Rams and he will play well.

Who are you and what have you done with Bama?!

Here is the true story: Kyle not only knows what Trey can do, he's counting on it. He was hoping to keep as much as possible hidden, which is why he'd been running him so much. But when that wasn't working in a game needed to keep playoff hopes alive, he had to show a bit and let Trey throw a little. It won the game, and we move on to LA who will be harder. In that game, you will not only see more passes from Trey, but look to get Kittle specifically more involved. Each game we go through we will see more of what Trey can do.

Agree. Today was the tip of the iceberg.

We beat them in despite of starting a QB who is not ready for the NFL yet.

He looked ready yesterday.
