Love this throw

I'm looking back through the game. That's one of his best throws of the day.

Agreed. This was his best dime of the day thru traffic no doubt

I like Jimmy but I don't think he attempts that throw. He would have hit Benjamin.

for sure

they are many throws that Trey made that not many QBs have made

on the flipside though i think Jimmy does a better job of making the simple plays which is why our offense is better with Jimmy (when healthy) but obviously Trey will improve with time. He just has to let it fly. They was a lot to like about his performance just about fixing the little things which are easier to teach and comes with time

45 yards on the opposite side of the field on a rope

When I saw this live, I thought the ref was gonna pick 6

i was at the game it was never in doubt for me (not the TD but the catch)

That was an example of a perfect throw and catch
heard on knbr that lance was only hit 9 times today, as opposed to 23 times vs arizona

Yah that's gonna improve when you're not trying to run your QB up the middle on every play.

Here is the true story: Kyle not only knows what Trey can do, he's counting on it. He was hoping to keep as much as possible hidden, which is why he'd been running him so much. But when that wasn't working in a game needed to keep playoff hopes alive, he had to show a bit and let Trey throw a little. It won the game, and we move on to LA who will be harder. In that game, you will not only see more passes from Trey, but look to get Kittle specifically more involved. Each game we go through we will see more of what Trey can do.

Ehhhhhh... that seems a little far fetched
Touch pass on TD made that play a layup!

I noticed him going to the ground before contact and getting out of bounds more this game.

I thought he did good avoiding the rush while still give himself some time to look downfield. Not just head down and run.

id also like to see him slide

he took some unnecessary hits and one play dived forward instead of sliding which can still be dangerous

yup thats ne of the hardest things for rookies to do which is why i liked him coming out. He still keeps hiseyes downfield then runs as a last resort which will lead to big plays in the future

the only real criticism i have is pocket presence could use some work and also he needs to learn the difference between college and nfl open cause he holds the ball a bit too long

not too concerned about missing Deebo on that throw to kittle he will kick himself later in the film room but occasionally missing WRs will happen hopefully he just learns at the very least to throw it away if nothing is there

And you're not going against JJ Watt and Chandler Jones

Sure but improvement from game to game is what we should be looking for and in that regard he improved from game 1 to game 2.
Trey can play well if Kyle uses him like a QB.

i think they were only 4 designed QB runs in that game outside the qb sneak
The biggest thing was the deep ball pi. We never throw that and I feel with how flag happy the refs are we leave free yardage on the field
