Seems like Kyle Shanahan changed up the whole offense for Trey Lance
Run your offense Kyle, help Trey out
This guy sucks. Had to block him on Twitter because I got sick of seeing his garbage takes on my timeline
I don't get the 'Run your offense Kyle, help Trey out' comment. Lance's last extensive playing time was 2019 in college. In Lance's head, those 2019 college plays are the ones he is confident in executing because he has had success with them. If Kyle called a bunch of timing throws the way he does for Jimmy, that would not be helping Lance out. If Kyle dialed up a bunch of routes that attacked the middle short area of the field, that would not be helping out Lance. So yeah, Kyle did change things up, but that's what had to be done to help the rookie. It'd be stupid to call the same plays for Lance that he does for Jimmy. We all know they have different skillsets.
