Surprised Fields has better odds since he is playing for the Bears. But then it's probally because he has a better chance of being the starter on day 1.

Trading away jimmy is a bad move especially since lance only played in one game in 2020.

Totally agree! If jimmy gets traded or hurt long term, we have no shot of getting/winning the SB. This kid needs to sit and adapt to the pro game and hopefully jimmy (and the rest of our team) stays healthy this season. If we can get some dline pressure, we're gonna be dangerous.

True. On the other hand, no quality QB should look like this:

What you mean I seen uncle Rico do that right before throwing the ball clear over those mountains

It's one play It's also jitters from shanny never addressing the oline. He was different qb when he got here. The acl and shanny f**ked him. Sort of like rg3.

And what's shanahans record as a head coach without jimmy? I'm waiting for shanny to prove me wrong so I can shut up, but so far he's failed miserably without jimmy.

Pretty awesome he is 3rd in odds to win.

I would put money on Pitts atb +1000 or +1100 or something.

Offensive Rookie of The Year will most likely go to a QB or WR, but someone who actually plays most, if not, all 17 games. Lawrence, Wilson, Chase, Waddle, Smith, and Pitts(I know he's a TE but dude is a freak, if we had our QB situation already, I would have taken Pitts, I was dreaming of a Kittle/Pitts combo, oh well, maybe in 6yrs Lol.

It's best to keep JG, have him start week 1, hope he stays healthy, he like you said gives us the best chance of getting a SB win, plus if he has a great year, that will improve his value trade wise, would be nice to get either a 1, or a couple day 2 picks for him.

Man that s**t was so embarrassing, almost butt fumble level. Wouldn't suprise me if Trey beats Jimmy by week one, but I do think it will be at least a couple games before we make the switch.

lol WTF. Overreact much?

I mean how often you see that kind of stuff? You can react however you choose, for me that s**t was laughable and embarrassing

Absolutely spot on AB
I hope Shanahan uses Lance his rookie year like Payton uses T. Hill in NO. Bring him in a couple plays a game and shake things up.

A flea flicker with sermon and a long bomb to aiyuk would be lit.

Judging Shanahan for his record as a HC without Jimmy is a bit unfair. Jimmy has been our franchise QB for the majority of Shanahan's time here. When he's been hurt we've been forced to play backup caliber (at best) QBs. Most coaches are not going to have a great record when forced to play their backup QBs for long stretches of time.

You're right, but shanahan gets a pass when jimmy doesnt. His only full year healthy and we go to the superbowl.

I'm hoping shanahan can prove he can do it now without jimmy. He has his qb. No more excuses.
I'm still smiling from this draft and the Trey pick!!!

I'm not Jimmy's biggest supporter on here, but I really dislike when this clip is tossed around without context. If I recall correctly, the ball came close to slipping out of his hand on this play, hence the weird double clutch. Once that happened, the play was essentially dead.

Yeah it fell out of his hands after the first attempt, he recovers and tries to make something out of a bad play vs just jumping on it and in the process makes it look that much worse. It's not a seeing ghost issue, it's a tried to do something and got disoriented situation.

Yes. There's 2 types of people who use this clip against Jimmy:

Someone who didn't watch the game and only ever seen the clip itself
and
Someone who watched it, knows that it fell out his hands, but still ignores it due to their dislike of Jimmy.

Im all in on Trey but I'm tired of seeing this as a reason to s**t on Jimmy.
