Another thing I saw just recently that makes Chris Simms look like an absolute effing moron. He's trying to say this QB will have Kyle running his offense in more of a Lamar Jackson-y style. No he won't dumbass, that's a Greg Roman offense which is absolutely nothing like a Shanahan offense in any way, shape, or form you idiot.

This is my expectation. Healthy Jimmy or not, Lance plays. He's better.

Garoppolo was not good even while he was healthy last year. It's not even so much that he regressed, as defenses deciphered his shortcomings (much as they did with Kaepernick), That's what happens in the NFL. If you don't have the complete arsenal you're "Not For Long". Unfortunately, I believe Jimmy is just not top tier. Shanahan realizes this and, to is credit, is doing something about it. Hopefully Lance is the answer that we believe he is.

This alternate reality that some fans are clinging to, namely, that Garoppolo is a legitimate franchise QB, is a mirage, IMO.

I do think he'll start earlier than expected and I'm all for it.
We already have a game manager, let's make Trey into one this year and let him grow as the season progresses.

Am I being overly optimistic if I'm thinking this guy will be transcendent in this offense? I was on the Fields train and even "Mac won't be a bad choice" train. But I was still hyped after the selection. After watching all his film, I couldn't help but get more excited. He looks like a prodigy to me based on what I've been seeing and hearing about him. I dunno I'm no expert and could be wrong
