Highly doubt he comes here. There's some good prospects out there and possibly a couple more that get cut. I think edge guys will see they can get paid after playing here

And they've been walled out of the top 2 QB's in the draft.
Either something big is going to happen that will make it all make sense or they're going to Daniel Jones this year's draft and make it even worse.

9 mil a year? That's crazy. Good for him I guess, but he isn't worth anywhere near that. He's an above average player.

Imo, the other DE position should be more a hybrid DE that can defend the run better and more suited for a base 4-3.
Drake should be our DE on passing downs. Unless the coaching staff just doesn't think he can be that guy opposite of Bosa, there's no need to pay for that position. I wouldn't mind bringing back Hyder though since he can play both inside and outside and that's what we need there.
Also hoping we use one of our picks on speed rusher in case Drake underwhelms.

Think about it;
Above average DE = $9 million per year
Bosa = $30 million per year
Sounds about right to me. Bosa is the standard.

I mean Hyder can be brought back for peanuts. Same with Willis. You can get those run defenders on day 3 of the draft.
We need another guy on the outside that can legit rush the passer. Bosa goes down any time, we're f**ked. They need a rotation there.
