That's what a fast track program is. 30 hours of online and 95% offline.

Source for that 95% offline? It sounds like the entire program is just 30 hours.

95% of the work/study is offline. Man, ya'll need to get ejamecated. Lol

I don't know... A sports hospitality course at Alabama just doesn't sound like it's going to be that rigorous. Especially not rigorous enough to explain why the guy never stepped foot in a gym.

Then again, Jones went to school a super fancy private/boarding school and probably was able to leave there with 30-45 hours of college credit already in the bag. That's just not something most public school student even have the opportunity to take.

Ans still, these major football players aren't treated the same as regular college students. They get funneled into classes and majors that the teams can make sure won't be a problem for their football careers. Players like Myron Rolle are the exceptions. I'm impressed when a guy is a Rhodes scholar, gets his masters at Oxford, and then becomes a neurosurgeon after he retires from football. Let's not pretend that the stuff that happened in Chapel Hill isn't happening all over the country.

Especially at a football powerhouse like Alabama.

Yeah I mean good on Jones to get his masters...that's a hell of an accomplishment regardless. I wouldn't throw it in the same realm as getting accepted to Harvard or anything. I think Bama's academic ranking is like 143rd in the country.

I think they're all pretty smart kids end of the day.

edit: it's a 30-hr course to get a masters

Dirty little secret is that graduate level courses aren't really that hard. It's harder to get into a masters program than to finish it, in most cases. I think mine was 48 hours though. 30 hours though, we see plenty of masters in that range.

However, here's the thing about Alabama Sports Management that is suspicious to me.

http://www.sportmanagement.ches.ua.edu/faculty-and-staff.html

That's the faculty. Two fulltime professors, but 5 adjuncts. I love adjuncts. I are one. However, all of these adjuncts are also employees in the Alabama athletic department. So a masters degree at Alabama, for athletes, that is essentially ran by the Alabama Athletic Department.

They're gonna get mad at you for poking holes in the "Mac Jones is a super smart astronaught" theory, just letting you know.

It's not enormous by any stretch of the imagination but the time it takes to complete one, no matter the challenge of the subject itself, is a pain in the ass.

I make plenty of money without one, but with how the program was broken down it doesnt seem like it was all that strenuous.

So, as usual, you don't know what you're talking about.

Just the ordering of Chicago style pizza with extra wings and 2 liters of soda.
So this #NOBAMA guy had easy classes that he didn't really need to attend and still couldn't make the gym ?
