I don't have access to their finances, but they did run a long ad during the game (s.young included) asking from one dollar to a million.. whatever you can give

It's not about having money issues. It's about where they can make more money.

Matt Barrows thinks Kyle Shanahan is a fan of BYU quarterback Zach Wilson.

It's really that simple...make around $4M to play in a bowl game make zero money (and spend money in the process) to go to UW.
You'd think people would understand what college football is all about (cash money).
They also said it wasn't a hard no...just waiting for the playoff rankings.

No surprise there against the level of competition and his really good offensive line against that competition.

film doesn't lie...he's not throwing it to wide open WRs all game. He's making big boy throws regardless of who he's playing.
end of the day you STILL have to make the throws.

Film doesn't lie? It lies all the time. Some of you guys are the kings of cliches. I've recorded and watched all of their offensive plays with Wilson in the game. Too bad we can't see him play the original schedule BYU had which was pretty solid. Also, BYU has pretty solid receivers that have bailed him out by jumping over double coverage. Wilson has looked excellent so far albeit with one of the most pathetic schedules in the nation. It's funny that when an SEC QB has a big play the receivers bailed him out, yet when Wilson does the schedule didn't bail him out. Some of us can see multiple things so some of you should take off your BYU blue glasses. It just funny the people on here confuse Northern Alabama with Alabama.

lol okay
Instead of attacking people who you seem to think are wrong, feel free to state your opinion on Wilson instead and put your cards on the table
Very easy to just criticize people, tougher to lay out your opinions and open it up to critique as well
Edit:
Level of competition is relevant, but skill set is vastly more important. And Wilson displays a skill set that is top 10 level and puts him into the conversation to be the #2 QB taken.

Nah film doesn't lie if you watch it correctly...I'm not gonna give him all this credit if he's constantly throwing to wide open receivers and watching his guys make all these YAC plays over and over.
He clearly makes high end NFL caliber throws. He has great vision and throws with anticipation. He has good mechanics/instincts overall.
So he plays vs worse talent and has worse talent around him. I wouldn't say BYU's coaching staff is on par with say Bama's either, would you?
It's all relative...Yes I want to see top guys play vs top end competition. We all want too. That does NOT make the film he's putting out there useless at all.
You don't like him that's fine. Talent is talent end of the day.

When you are watching all of Zach Wilson's offensive snaps, what are you watching for? What are you seeing?
