The tools are there, and by all accounts he works his @ss off. That's a guy I'm happy to bet on, my only concern is his frame, which combined with his hero play style could lead to injuries, plus he already has an injury history.

It wasn't until the Boise St game where I knew he'd challenge for QB2 in the draft, and he'd be out of our reach, and I'm not willing to trade a haul for him when I feel another QB that fits into our offense just as well can be there at 12.

That's a completely fair comment, and where NY let's himself down IMO, gets too focused on his guys at the expense of others.

Definitely nice to go back and forth with draft crushes, so I don't mind the battle royal with NY in the other threads

I took a long break from WZ the past six years. Wish I had been around during the 2017 draft. I was all in on Deshaun Watson.

If Wilson fell to where it wouldn't take much to move up and get him I'd be fine with that. I'd be fine with Fields in the same way. I'd be ok with Lance or Trask in the first or second (probably not at 12).

I figure next year is going to be Garoppolo and Rosen.

we have no idea where Wilson gets drafted. So far it's all media driven. We know how much that matters.

If they love a prospect go get them. Period. I'm not gonna talk myself into a lesser talent so I can save a couple picks, no at QB.

also if Mac Is as good as you say, why is he dropping to 12? You're gonna have to move up for him just as well.
