Chiefs, 9ers, Bengals and Jags interested

Do bengals still get preference even though they just got Takk over the niners?

Hes a FA. So he will decide where he plays

Ah ok. But that's the difference between that and say someone like Takk who was also waived? Hope they can get him, but not sure what money they ha e, but he's certainly get a chance for some serious playing time here

When a player gets released/waived, they go into a waiver pool for like 2 days and this is where teams can claim them based on their position in the waiver line. When Baker got waived he went into this same pool however no team was willing to claim him bc of the robbery charge. He has since cleared waivers and is free to sign.

I don't think players with so many years in the league (like a 6 year vet) go through waivers but i'm not sure about that one.
Sign him and cut Akhello.

We're the Giants playing Zone or Man? Baker seemed like he would thrive in a cover 3 scheme. Like how with Okudah would thrive in a cover 2 scheme but is struggling doing much of anything with the lions
Any news on where this kid is heading? If we can somehow bring him in and give him some more time to develop the rest of this year that would be a strong pickup for the future. It's too bad he will likely sign a rental deal rather than something a little more long term and cheap

Can't we pick him off the PS if we put him on active roster?

Yup, this pretty much tells you how teams felt about him
