Anyone buying this? Or is this just JJ's agent fantasy? If the interest is real, why is JJ unsigned? Anyone?

I was buying it until I read Jennings would instantly step into the no. 1 receiver role once signed. The price is wrong, Bob.

I think they mean if he signed with LV or MIA, which I could see him being the #1 WR as those 2 don't have many, if any good WRs or anyone close to being a #1, not that Jauan is an actual #1 WR, but for those 2 teams sure, not the Colts though, idk about Tennessee, Idk if Wan'Dale is a #1 IMO.

Now it's the Chargers. JJ's agent is working overtime to drum up interest. I wonder how much this story placement is costing him?

He posted a pic of him with yellow hair wearing a baby blue shirt. Gotta give him credit he commits to the story if he isn't signing with the Chargers. It honestly would be a great fit for him to go play with Harbaugh and run block the way he does.

Im starting to feel for this young man who played his heart out for us. Hard for me to believe that a blue collar guy like this isn't valued while loud mouth divas are snatched up day 1.

We should start being real with kids letting them know that the Deon Sanders, Richard Sherman, Ocho Cinco, B.A, Deebo way, is the way to go if you want to get recognition and set yourself up for a future with the NFL.

You are literally talking about all.time great or guys who had a couple good/great years. I love Jennings, but he has never done that. He hasnt even come close to having a season or career like that. Freddie Mitchell was a loudmouth too. Where did that get him? If you think the guys you mentioned being divas is what got them paid, I don't know what game you have been watching.
Latest news has JJ joining the Chiefs! Or the Bills! Or, or, or... Whatever team his agent hasn't thought of placing a story with. Yet.

Is JJ asking for too much? Or, do other teams do not see him as a valuable addition?

He is probably asking too much

There were reports SF offered him a 3 year 45 million deal and he turned it down to bet on himself

He is probably asking for MORE than that and not finding any takers...he doesn't want to accept less and acknowledge he lost out on a good offer

His agent saw what WRs were signing for the last couple of offseasons and figured his client could capitalize but every team is running our offense and they saw our separation grades and JJ didn't grade favorably

They know they don't have Kyle scheming him open or Brock passing him the rock and if he didn't break out here what makes them think he will elsewhere. They can see his toughness in blocking and ability to win on contested catches but they can also see his lack of separation and speed

We had him priced right but now his job went to Mike Evans and Kirk. Now he's getting the seventh round pick treatment in FA

JJ should take our money and be happy he has a top 3 QB. Read the room pal.
What a tragic tale. Has he fired his agent yet?
Serious question: which would be better for the 49ers?

1/ Mike Evans at $20 million per year

Or

2/ Jennings at $15 million per year?
he signed yet?

Mike Evans only got 14 mil guaranteed. It's basically a year to year contract. Even at 20mil, definitely Evans.

I don't blame JJ for trying - I would too.

But he has likely reached his NFL ceiling and will always be a 3 (maybe a 2 in certain offenses.)

Always liked how he played, great blocker and fiesty.

Hope it ends well for him.

I can't say a bad thing about him. I would take him back at the right price no doubt.

Same! it would lock up the WR room for next year too completely eliminate it as a need going into the draft
